I bought a new laptop, and installed the trial version of HEM2. All worked fine, but I've decided to stick with PT3 for now (I purchased PT3 a few years back, and it worked fine on my old laptop). So I installed PT3, but it can't connect to the postgreSQL database. I just get an error message instructing me to "check the configuration" whatever that means. I suck at computers, but I guess installing postgre with HEM has caused the problem?

Any help would be hugely appreciated!

PT3's default name/password is - postgres/dbpass
HM's default name/password is - postgres/postgrespass

If that doesnt help:

1. Go to C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL\8.x\data, move the the pg_hba file to your Desktop and open it with notepad.
2. Scroll to the bottom and change all md5 to trust. Save and close the file
3. Move the file back to the data folder
4. Restart the PostgreSQL service: Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services

HM or PT will accept any password now.

Looking for a video capture software that is low-PC usage, because my PC's not good enough to run the BCP client, PT3 and Camtasia at the same time. Or are there settings one can change inside Camtasia to reduce the usage?

Jing does free 5 minute captures. TechSmith integrated Jing in to SnagIt 11 but it is not free after 30 days. Camstudio is an open-source and free video capture tool but I am not sure if it is any less resource intensive.

Are you uploading an actual video you recorded of the HM2 replayer? You will need to use something like tiltblocker.ahk to cover them all or else cover/blur them in a video editing software. We have a feature request in our system to change the player names in the replayer to positions but that is very low priority and I have no idea if/when it might actually get implemented.

The previously assigned internal ticket # on this issue is HM-2648: Add option to show positions in the replayer instead of names

No, I just want to upload the text but with no real names, position instead.

Copy the hands from the HM2 Reports hands datagrid via the right-click > copy menu and then paste them into the 2+2 hand history converter when posting/replying. It will anonymize all the player names and post the hand in an easy to read format, and will also have a replayer tab to watch the hand instead of read it.

Can any one tell me if HM1 is working with FTP? Not rush, just PLO.
