I use a Mac G4 to play on PokerStars. After their latest software upgrade this past Saturday, Oct. 4, I have been unable to "sit in" in tournaments. I'm allowed to register and unregister for tournaments but once the tournament starts it is sitting me out.
I contacted Stars Support and they told me to click the "Sit In" button on the screen. I informed them that there was no "Sit In" button appearing on my screen (they said it should be on the lower right). After a few emails back and forth they finally had me send a screen shot and a zip file.
Support then informed me that they would send this onto tech. support and someone would soon contact me. After a few days someone from tech. finally did contact me and said that I should reinstall Stars. I told them that I already did this twice, even going in and deleting every file that had to deal with Stars. After reinstalling I still had the same problem.
Now Support tells me that they will send this to their MAC specialist and that he would contact me soon (they said it could be anywhere from 1-2 days).
Furthermore, to make sure that somehow my computer wasn't having problems I went and downloaded FTP and played a couple hands in the Play Money. I did not have any problems. I was able to play, "sit in" and "sit out" whenever I wanted.
Has anyone had these problems? Or, if not does anyone know what could be the cause of this problem. Like I said before I never had any problems until their latest software upgrade.
