Is there any reason why all of my notes would disappear? I'm using the same computer as always and have not deleted any files what so ever. I tried restarting both my computer and the full tilt client but it didn't work. All of my notes are gone on players. Even the color tags are no longer showing up. Anyone ever had anything like this happen before?

Check your FTP install directory. There will be a file yourname.dat and that contains all your notes and stuff. If it somehow got corrupted or deleted, it may not work right. You can open it up in notepad, even though it's a binary file, to see if anything is there. Regularly back it up. It's also transferable between installs.

okay. I opened it with notepad but all I see is a bunch of symbols. There is no writing at all. Does that mean it's corrupted? What should I do if this is the case?

The main problem with the notes format is that it doesn't include the username of the person you've taken the note against. It only includes an id number. I work around this by including the username in enclosed in <...> in each note and my software can search for that.

I've used this code to import/export from PT in the past with no problems.
