Hello!
Having a huge problem, and i can't solve it...
MY postgres crashed, and i can't get it working again. The problem is that, that after unninstalling( did everything, removing the app, user acount, reg entry), reinstalling is not working still asking for the superuser (postgres) password, what is it? It should be for all the same, as it's superuser, but can't get it :/

Did you also try editing the pg_hba file?

Did you make sure to also delete the \data folder and remove the postgres user from the command prompt window before you tried reinstalling? Are you using a installer from postgresql.org or a combo installer for a tracker?

PT3's default name/password is - postgres/dbpass
HM's default name/password is - postgres/postgrespass

As I said, I did everything that was required to get it off my PC, but... Tried the pga too.. At the moment it looks the best solution will be to reinstall Windows completly on the Poker pc, so...

And thank you for your time reading this

Post a screen shot of where it is asking for a password.

You should never, ever, ever need to reinstall windows completely to get postgresql working. It's just ridiculous. Even if you completely lost the admin password you can reset it through a fairly simple procedure.

If you are an HM customer we can schedule a remote support session to help you get it working. If you are using HM1 or HM2 please PM me and I can give you instructions for scheduling a remote support session as it against the rules for me to post that info outside of our support thread. If you are using another tracker you will need to contact their support.
