I've not included the card mod, it only works at 1 resolution at the moment, I may get round to finishing one day.

Enjoy.
Many thanks for it! I've just sent u a PM. I hope you could help me!

I have a mod request, figured I'd post it here before PMing fozzy and barnuthin. I hope what I want already exists (maybe at psthemes or similar) and of course, I'm willing to pay for it.

I have to have:
- black or dark gray table and background (I currently use Stars' HyperSimple with a solid black background)
- compatible with TableNinja
- no images or empty image circles

I would like to have:
- if empty seats could be more obvious. I would love the seat to completely disappear, or at least change colors to something that makes it really clear no one is sitting there

Nice, but not important:
- cool cards
- cool chips

Recommendations?

TIA,
Rob

EDIT:

I admittedly posted the above while under a state of advanced Googletardedness.

Within the PSThemes Professional Themes Page I have found 3 that I think might work. No Images Hyperclone, Minimal, and Rosewood. Which of these will work with TableNinja? I like the way Rosewood seems to handle empty seats - does No Images or Minimal do something similar?

Do you know what TableNinja requires for it to work? If not, ask in thread.

I assume you're aware of tiltbuster.com as well?

I think tableninja, like betpot, needs the theme to be based on hypersimple, or classic. So themes based on the slick theme will not work, so if you want a no image theme, it has to be based on the "simple" (classic w/no images) theme, I believe. I was actually just wondering about this, since I just made a mod like the one you are requesting, but hate the "classic" text.

why would you need tableninja? BetPot + Starsassistant + StarHotKeys does the same things.

The empty seats on noimages hyperclone, are somewhat faint when empty. Bar's minimal theme has very noticeable (orange highlighted) empty seats. I am pretty sure they are both betpot compatible.

I cant get this to work.
The file that needs those command lines is just jibberish.

Cant i just replace the picture files in the themes folder, and disable the updater?

All i want is to be able to make the table transparent, thats all!

Thankyou.

no, i havent done anything in AHK for a while and don't currently plan to either. This specific thing I abandoned since it's really just one mousclick to change it manually if you use the bkgrmanager.

Thanks for pointing this out, i didn't realise you could edit those aswell.

Anyways, now i have edited the rest of the buttons, and you were right - it does look much better now.

However - an enigmatic problem has occured. Somehow the 'raise slider' (slider.bmp) doesn't appear now after i edited it. So it acts like a limit game even though im playing no limit!

I have tried changing back to the original slider again and then it works, so something must go wrong when i edit it - any clues as to what may be causing this?

Also i have noticed when playing tornaments, PokerStars places the text 'TOURNAMENT TABLE' on the table, any other placement issues i should know about?

Thanks in advance

The alpha-mask (slider.a.bmp) for the slider needs to be re-created or edited, most likely. It controls the areas of transparency for the slider.

You can learn more about masks and how to create/edit them from the PokerStars Theme Integration Guide.

Thanks for your reply,

I don't get whats wrong though, i haven't edited the slider.a.bmp file - it's just completely black (R:0 G:0 B:0)

Here is the before and after of the slider.bmp - maybe you can spot whats wrong?

BEFORE:

AFTER:

All i have edited, is the color, made it slightly lighter, and added some subtle texturing.

Also i have tested the slider-grip, and it works - so i guess the problem must be with the slider itself, or it's mask as you suggested.

Thanks for your help

What you see and what you get are 2 different things.

I tried converting your PNG to bmp/mask and was unable to. I assume because it is 24 bit, instead of 32. I opened the PNG in photoshop, and trimmed off 1 pixel from all edges, for a littel transparency around the edge. I then saved it as PNG with photoshop and converted the PNG to bmp/mask. Let me know if those work.

Whatever it is you did, it did the magic - it now works!

I think i can see now what was wrong, comparing yours and mine. The border in mine wasn't completely black, as it is in yours - nice to know if similar problems should happen in the future.

Thank you very much for your help, wouldn't have figured this out by myself

The best way of working, IMO, is PSD files and then save those as PNG. Then use the png2bmp.exe to convert your PNG (with transparent background) into BMP/.A.BMP. This is the best way of making a perfect mask for your images.

Well, i just tried adding a black border to my own working PSD and saving a BMP of that, and it didn't work - so i guess it must be some strange file/data issue. The weird thing is though, that it's only the slider.bmp that causes this issue

Like I said in my post, I never 'Save as..' .BMP. I save as PNG, then use the png2bmp converter (in the PokerStars Themes Integration Guide), to create the BMP and .A.BMP. That's why stars made the converter. There is also a MSKMGR.EXE which can be used to convert the masks to black/white greyscale files, so you can edit the mask with photoshop. I prefer editing/creating the PNG image, and letting the software make the bmp/mask, instead of editing both files. It's a much more natural process, and provides the best results, imo.

It looks like you have some sort of mask issue around the buttons in the upper right corner.

I just checked, it looks the same in the original BLACK theme - which i made this from. So i think it's just supposed to be a shadow or something.

Anyways thanks for keeping your eyes open for possible bugs
