Pokerstars Theme (free) [main Poker Stars mods thread] - Page 20

OK, I understand that you need to create the Xthemes directory/.ini file, is Xthemes a software package, I'm struggling to find any info on this, is there an FAQ or something that someone can point me in the right direction of please?

I am in the process of making my first Pstar theme. It will be free to download after I complete it.

The theme is based on Studio Ghibli's "Howl's Moving Castle", if you recognize the background.

Any feedback is appreciated!

Can anyone tell me how to mod the chips? Also, I just purchased a deck from Barnuthin, please tell me I don't have to run that exe everytime I open stars and theres a simple way to just change the default cards?!?!

I plan on finally making some chip mods for stars and ftp, in a few weeks. I am currently using these FTP chips (by Gregg777) that were ported by Fenhir on another forum - here.

Not my mod/conversion - I dont feel right hosting someone's work without their express permission. Let me see if I can contact him - I think it might be SzS on these forums, he is the one that linked me to that post. My installer obviously installs them quickly/easily - but I wont host anyone else's work, that I compiled into an installer.

I hope to have my own chips for stars in a couple weeks - and they will be posted here free, and be included with all my future deck downloads. The FTP chips might be a bit harder, because of the ******ed PNG graphics they opt to use.

NP - Anyone unsure of how to install them manually:

1 - Extract the contents of: PokerStars-mod_fenhir.zip, to a new folder.
2 - Copy the entire Modified "Chips" folder located inside - PokerStars-mod_fenhir\PokerStars-mod_fenhir\PokerStars-mod_fenhir_files_1.2.1_gray\XThemes\www .pokerspieler. org\Graphics\modified\Gx\chips&deck\
3 - Paste the modified Chips folder into: C:\Program Files\PokerStars\Gx\chips&deck\, and overwrite the default chips.
4 - Restart Stars - and I think you probably need the updates disabled, iirc.

With any luck I will have my own original stars chips soon.

Can someone help be change my cards. I'm using the Hyper-Simple Theme from the stars defaults but the cards are different colors, I would like the normal cards. Can someone help me?

Open a cash table > Options > Choose Theme > Deck > Standard

Hyper-Simple uses the Simplified deck by default.

My first theme... was quite a rocky road, and I still haven't figured out a few things that have been quite troublesome to make, but I hope to make more in the future! (Just real busy ATM).

They all install fine for me, and everyone else that uses them. You do know that you have to Apply them?

Open any cash table, click on the chip rack for table options, then:

Choose Theme > and find the new theme and Apply.

The deck has to be activated by going to Choose Theme > Deck > Simplified.

Try watching this video, and see if it helps.

I have never, not been able to get them fixed for someone.
