if you're talking about the widescreen themes - they will only work with an older version of Pokerstars

the "russian site" has a zip file download of an older version of stars software in the forum, for those customers who cannot speak russian and demand a refund

there plenty of no image themes that use various hole card spacing

might help to know if you require it to work with any hotkeys, like TableNinja, etc.

i currently dont use any other 3rd party software other than PT3.. which i use to graph my loss of money and the hud to see how green i can get my VPIP

- no images
- full face cards if poss
- sleek buttons/ menu if poss

think is.. masonic / raven others in that stlye witth green felt and black/grey felt simplistic stuff is awesome.. just want to no images version if poss.. so i have more space to grind 1c/2c with hud

I highly recommend Esoteric. Fantastic detail, and makes playing enjoyable. Can't go wrong with it.

terribble time the last four weeks... black friday, douzens of updates, pokerstars gx.ini desaster and all that when i had scheduled my site for updating ok, back to some serious business, shall we?

All our PokerStars mods are updated to the latest version now. So before complaining about non working mods in our forums please go and download the latest version. MSPoker has created a decent looking new theme for PokerStars and it´s our first release after the ini´s are back, well not completely back, no widescreen at the moment but better than nothing for sure. thx bar and all others for talking to stars and posting in the stars thread. i´m looking forward to the new xthemes and i hope we can convince stars to make some changes so it will go in the right direction.

For Tourney Tables. Without chips if possible. Only big numbers would be the best.

Layout/ button position is pretty much perfect!!

But the general style is not me tho really Bit too 'flat', dont like the rounded button buttons as everything else is square.. the gradient/chrome just doesnt suit me. the Esoteric/Raven/ Carbon Speed (from ure site) are more me.. softer/darker etc.. i think 6/9 tables on the screen with that design and my eyes would melt lol. That said dude, the ini/positions are mint.. I should be able to change the background/table and stuff to more me though. I might spend a few days modifying the theme to more my style and perhaps if i can learn it.. tweak some positions in the gx.ini..


In fact, thinking about it.... if you could:

- take carbons current design as it is
- use the chromus's gx.ini(for the top right menu and get rid of the text links top left), so it frees up space
- remove the user images but keep that exact box look
- keep it with carbons exact 'look' (based on slick, but using the no image version) maaaybe sliver/gray buttons rather than the pink

it would win the internet lol I would buy it right now and tell all my poker friends of its awesomeness... and then share my EPT chips for free (not that they are that amazing anyway) for i would be happy.



its certainly a start though, so tempted to buy it.

the idea behind this one is old but it´s not possible at the moment. something similar on a standard 4:3 resolution with a simplified layout is possible. they rolled back the gx.ini but all other ini´s are still not possible to mod. so what we actually have is no pre-april state. creating base themes and changing the base resolution isn´t possible. sorry

i will have a talk to the designers and we will see what is possible. Pelorojo refused so far to make gx.ini changes to his themes. basically the ini of the ChromusX2 is made of a slick ini, so chances are good that it will work out of the box with only small changes.

does this need more room around the sides for hud, or do ppl put huds above/below the pod (and why would you do that??!)

get a screeny of you at table with action on you (so 3 main bnuttons /slider/bank)

Top position could be an arse if any content appears above (the bar poking out suggests something is there) otherwise its fine for my PT3 HUD anyway..

I have the basic carbon one im using with a hud.. on 6-max and on Full ring.. Full ring is obviously a nightmare.. id like to stop playing them but im not sure you can grind microstakes properly on 6max.. or maybe thats all i should be playing lol.. (goes to beginner forums).

great ini G3k0. The style isnt me, but the layout itself looks ace.

It's a rehash of the nav bar used earlier in the thread I thought the buttons were a bit too pixelated / gimmicy.





I still need to get around to skinning the bet actions and chat window. Think I'll prob make a 'nod to Bar's raven/esoteric' and have a muted matt table as the default...although I also need to work out how to make decent wood, felt, matt and chrome textures for a full table options pack.

Seat pods are a little dated now so need to update those to what I've learnt in Inkscape over the last fortnight or so.

out of interest, to save me trying each setting in the gx does anyone know the answer to the following? :

which font controls the total_pot formatting
alternate shading for the chatbox lines
stats_info section is has a different control to the rest of the chat settings?

Is it possible to remove completely the status bars? You know this bracket in which stacksize and nickname fits, I want to completely remove it from the table (i`m using Hypersimple theme)
because i increased the fonts of stacks, made them bold, and now they fit in badly/overlap with there status bars around at minimum size tables

should be feasable. replace the status and statusb images with blank images.

so in pokerstars/themes/ordinarly/label/ replace:
status.bmp, status.a.bmp
statusb.bmp, statusb.a.bmp

with renamed copies of the following images from the zip file:

blank_100x100.bmp > status.bmp, statusb.bmp
blank_100x100.a.bmp > status.a.bmp, statusb.a.bmp

I've just tested it and yes, it removes the brackets for you

G3k0 or someone else do you know is it possible to change the fontsize of the betbox do you know the name of the font. i tested some fonts but didnt get the right see also this thread:

depends on what theme you're using and at what size table

given that info, I could tell you

note that changing the font for the pot will also affect the player name and stack (possibly other things) - use same font in most (if not all) cases
