how do i install new backs for my deck? couldn't find the awnser.

Go to Pokerstars/Gx/chips&deck/deck/simple and replace the back image with the ones you want to use. Once you do this you will have to restart Pokerstars(I think) and be sure to use the .exe rather than the update icon. I just use the update icon every couple months because once you update the cardbacks go back to default.

hey guys, a simple question (thanks in advance for the help).

I am able to set up a lot of these themes, but cannot figure out how to make them "no images" themes. Is there an easy way to remove the avatars?

Bars and Fozzy are usually willing to create a no images version on psthemes.com if you don't mind spending a few bucks ($10 or less usually) for a theme. I really like the ones they have done for me and I play exclusively no images. The blue one under professional themes is my current table.

you probably already know, but there are like 3 bmp's you have to delete to make it betpot compatible. They are in the betpot thread.

The No Images themes use a different "Base Theme" in the Stars client. It uses some different default images, as well as image placement, and different text color, etc. It isn't very easy to turn an existing Images Theme into a No Images theme. It is better to create an entire new "No Images Theme".

The player name/chip stack boxes of a No Images Theme are very symmetrical around the table. In the Images Themes the Avatar Image Holders are symmetrically place around the table, causing the player name box images to be re-positioned. Someone (CatoAndTonic?) posted a modified Images Theme, where they had removed the Avatar Images, and it made the table (player name boxes), look very unorganized and Asymetrical (imo).

Does anyone know which image controls the label behind the Pot Size and the chat box inner background? I did a quick look around the theme's directory but couldn't find it.



All of other images I edited (buttons/etc) were in the theme folder but this label doesn't seem to be there.

Pretty sure you cant edit either one. I am 99% sure the label behind pot amount CAN NOT be edited, it seems this was recently asked by a customer. I believe it is controlled by the encrypted INI file. I think the chat background background label may be encrypted too, IIRC. Bar Nuthin will know the exact answer, I am a little bit punch-drunk from photoshopping new stuff all week.

I remember others using the "TiltBlocker Script" which can create a colored BMP image, to cover up the chat area. But this would completely block whats under it, i believe.

Ah. Oh well.

I really wish the avatars were done in a different way. I really like this theme but it would be even better (more space) without avatars.

There are plenty of "No Images Themes" available. They use a different base in the Stars client. There are a few noticeable changes, text color, player seat position, hole card position, stack size text position, and the action text (when a player checks/bets). The "No Images Deck" posted by Bar is designed for these unique "No Images Themes".

There are some No Images Themes mixed in our current site - here and here. There will be more No Images themes from me in the coming weeks/months as I am literally re-creating/improving all of my collections, and obv making all new themes/decks.

The yellow foreground text tilts me on the non-avatar themes.

ditto - but it cant be changed anymore since they encrypted the INI file. There is a mod in S/W by Catoandtonic that is a Images theme, where he blocked/removed the avatar circles. This makes the player seat position very asymetrical once you remove those circles. The No Img themes reposition the player names, etc to make them more symmetrical.

I will try to find that link - bump this later if you cant find it or I forget. Just gettin ready to eat lunch.

alas, the background behind the "pot size" is not editable and is determined based on the base theme (i.e. default, stars, hyper-simple...)

this is of primary importance when designing a theme that is intended to be betpot compatible

Every Theme I make must/will be BetPot compatible. I would guess 75%+ of the people using my themes use BetPot or Multi-Table. It's nice if they look as coordinated and stylish as possible - but a theme is worthless to me if I cant play 4+ tables while using it.
