I'm not imposing my opinion. I tried it once and I didn't really like it.
My post is for information only and not to to offend anyone. I hope it will help someone
Hello,
(Disclosure: I'm the developer of PokerCruncher.)
I hardly ever post outside of the 2p2 PokerCruncher support threads, because I want to be non-intrusive, but I think there are some incorrect facts here about PokerCruncher and I felt the need to clear them up.

... and earlier ... :
PokerCruncher ( http://www.pokercruncher.com ) (but I think it's very expensive and outdated.)
1) You're confusing the Advanced and Expert versions of this app. On Mac it's the "Expert" version ($40 USD currently); this version is more powerful than the iPhone, iPad, and Android "Advanced" versions.
2) Re. it being $50 in your country, what's your country? The reason is currency exchange rates (note the $40 current price is in U.S. dollars), and some countries put extra taxes and fees and possibly tariffs on top (it's complicated and fluid). And price rounding happens, and it's usually up-rounding to the next good-sounding price up. The exact pricing around the world is determined by the app store and they update prices periodically. We/I (PokerCruncher) set one price, $40 USD currently, and Apple translates this price around the world using many factors.
3) Re. "but I think it's very expensive" -
As numberonedonk already said the $40 USD current pricing for the Expert version is on par with other similarly powerful desktop programs in this space. Even if the price were $10 higher, it's in the same ballpark, and your wording "very expensive" seems inaccurate.

4) This is a very fair statement, can't argue with that.
But I'm not really sure what you tried because earlier you were confused between the Advanced and Expert versions.
But I can't argue with the above; every person has a right to an opinion and viewpoint. So I'll say you're fully right here.
However if you can let me/us know what you didn't like about PokerCruncher, that may help me improve the program going forward.
I'm just glad many other people do like this program, e.g. some pros and coaches are now using the PokerCruncher Expert version in their videos and training material.
Regards,
-RJ
