I'm having a little problem that's been happening in every version so far... (well not reallya problem just an annoyance)

It's kinda hard to explain, but here goes.

I have FT "auto center" enabled, so on the 9max tables, I'm seated on the bottom.
Now when I load up POH, The stats will pop up for everyone except for me, cause I have my own stats disabled.
But... i'd say 75% of the time at least, player xxx's stats will be over my seat. His stats will correctly be over his own seat, but they will also be over mine. And they will not go away after a few hands or anything.
The only way they go away, is if I restart the program, and that fixes it every single time.

Thanks for posting this; this is a long standing bug that I literally forgot about. I will get that fixed ASAP.

Yes, the update for Stars Limit table was awesome.

Stat combos are fantastic, nice neat display. (two liner might be nice in the future.)

Would it be possible for the pop up stats to offer kind of a drill down for a bunch of stats that you might not always want on screen full time? Maybe if you hovered over a zone either a stat or a special field for the combo stats?

Is the filter by current limit not yet hooked up? If I save it to a theme it never sticks.

Simply awesome, I know I'm only scratching the surface of it's abilities.

TY

Thanks Mitt. Sounds like you have the pop up thing figured out. As for the filter to current limit, it should work but haven't checked lately. I will.

Update 0.6.0 Posted

*Party Poker Support -- Note that this has undergone only limited testing, but should work. Be sure to use the Party Poker main directory as the hand history location.

* Fix: Stats now disappear on seats where hero is located when hero stats are disabled.

Your postgres settings are determined by the settings you made when you installed PT3 or Holdem Manager.

Because of party support I installed this now. If HUD is started while tables are already open, the tables become "un-clickable", you can't move them, press buttons or anything. Meaning effectively that if the HUD crashesh during play, you're fkd.

EDIT: actually whenever HUD is active, tables don't process any user input. The HUD stats are movable though.

Are you using it with the PokerTracker 3 HUD open as well. There have been reports of the 2 HUDs not being compatible. Also, are you using XP or Vista?

I haven't tested Party on Vista, so I'll do that tonight. In the meantime, have you disabled desktop composition?

Thanks, that helped! Except for it making windows butt ugly

Now that I can use it: configuring it is painful. Clicking checkboxes in stats list is laggy - it takes several seconds for the box to check after clicking it, which of course causes lots of non-wanted clicks (did it register, or did it not?) - also it doesn't seem to register at all unless the stat is already selected.

Apply this font to all stats - it says I should select a stat from the list, still at the bottom it says Current Stat Selected: <the one I was editing>.

Apply this decimal setting to all stats - Apply - this made all tables turn in plain white, and apparently freezing both the hud cockpit and the tables for a good 30 seconds I would estimate.

I still think dave's ahk hud is (and sadly think that it will remain) the easiest configurable hud ever. The configuration GUI is nice to have of course, but it's just so tilting and painful to clickety click until your wrist hurts and type in these color ranges etc, forgetting which shade of green I used to use for this range in other stats, then realize I'm gonna change them a bit and then just give up, instead of starting text editor and copy-pasting lines around. And all the while doing all this thinking how much easier it could've been.

Ok done ranting, sorry about that, this HUD seems very good according to the standards, too bad I've just been spoiled by the excellence of the dave's ahk hud, and mainly its ease of configuration and customization

To each his own, no doubt. Thats one reason why its good to have different options out there. Dave's provided a great service for free and I know we all appreciate what he's done on that as well as everything else.

As for your problems, one thing to note is that when you click on a stat, I've designed it so the checkbox does not automatically check because then you couldn't modify the properties without changing the selection first (basically its a design decision). As far as your other 2 issues, I have no idea what thats about as its the first I've heard of it.

Anyway, I'm glad you tried it out.

I've tried this HUD a few times but always have the same problem. I'm playing Full Tilt with PT3 on a Vista machine with Desktop Composition disabled.

As soon as the hud comes up on a table I can no longer click anywhere on the table. I can't close the table, move it, join the wait list etc.

Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?

You're likely not doing anything wrong. There are have been reports of this behavior by a few Vista users. I have not been able to locate the source of the problem as its not consistent. I hope to have a fix soon.

Yeah don't take it the wrong way, I really want to like your HUD, and the cross-client compatibility is a great idea. Also, when the stats are on the table, it seems to perform very good, doesn't flicker etc. It was just me getting out my general frustration to all the next gen HUDs, where all this effort is put to making a fancy GUI which inevitably will be hard to use, overly hard to maintain and modify configurations, when the simplest and most powerful option would've been the most obvious one -- and, it even wouldn't had needed to be either/or situation, a complex GUI could me made to (de)serialize from/to a human readable/editable format.

I would've assumed clicking on the checkbox checks/unchecks the selection, and clicking on the label of the stat should select it?

works out perfectly. now all i have to do is get the table set up right. how do i set it so that i am auto centered at the bottom of the table and does it automatically determine if it's a 6 or 9 max table? i noticed something under "themes" but i dont really know what im doing there.. also, i read something about drop down stats. im not seeing any stats as of yet so how do i get those to drop down?
