New Software- IdleMiner New Software- IdleMiner

As far as I can tell it's defaulting to Monster games, not Cash games. For example, I can't datamine 25/50 NL games because they aren't Monster tables, it just sits there but with 10/20 NL, it opens the Monster tables but not the regular 1-2 cash game tables that are usually running.

Hey we tracked that down and it turns out that bug isn't a Monster tables problem, it is a typo in our part. 25/50 NL is getting saved as 20/40 NL, which obviously doesn't exist.

New patch up to fix this momentarily.

The new patch is up if you try to datamine 25/50 NL you'll want to start IdleMiner up and remove all limits then add it again so it gets saved correctly.

Uh, have i said i love this? I love this.

Uninstall doesn't remove idleminer service from services applet listing. The files are removed but not the listing in services applet, minor bug.

Maybe can we choose to datamine between monster/regular or with/without dp protection?

Newest update opens PT and importer but doesnt hit the start button. It also opens an importer that goes into my main database not my mined database. Not a big deal.

Is there any way to have an option to open the generic auto import(lightning bolt) window rather than the party window in PT? Are you guys really using the party importer to get your observed hands?

This PT feature doesnt make or break the software for me. With or with out it this software is sweet.

Not sure what's happening, but I came home today and the software had stopped. Party was sitting open with the Login screen showing, but no tables open.

Here's a bit of my log file.

My system froze last night after running idleminer and pt - didn't discover it until this morning.

I restarted and started up the programs again this evening . The first pt download after 20 minutes worked fine. I came back to the computer an hour later to find it had restarted on me.

The error report from Microsoft states this was an "Error caused by a device driver" - a "Windows stop error". Anyone else run into this? Thanks.

After about 2 hrs of running the app it starts to constantly open and close just one table. For some reason 2 to 4 seconds after the table is open the program shuts it down. Then 5 seconds later the same table gets opened again. This goes on until I restart the program.

This has happened to me 4 times today but did not happen at all before the latest upgrade.

I have the same problem after the upgrade, except it was doing it with 4 of the 12 tables i had open. 8 tables would stay open, but the other 4 kept opening and closing every 5 seconds.

Once i hit Start, IdleMiner seems to close and disappers. I have rebooted and it continually diappears.

I had this problem when I updated as well. I uninstalled/reinstalled and it took care of the problem.

I reinstalled idleminer and this still happens.

Same for me. Run it, hit start, it waits for 5 seconds, then closes, with the background app still using 30% of my CPU.

hit control-alt-delete and end the idleminder process, then you can start the program again

In an effort to keep my PT databases pssible to set some hours on this program...I have no interest in collecting data between 2 AM and 10 AM?

Besides that, solid program and am enjoying it so far.

Wow...I didn't even realize that the idleminer process was stil running. I've been wondering why my CPU has been pegged at 100% For some reason it was draining tons of CPU power. I ended the process and it's back to normal.

Seems like it was using about 70-80% of my CPU.

What's going on here?

I left the program at one computer, while I was in transit. Now that I'm home, I accessed that computer (through gotomypc) to turn off the program, so that I could play at Party at home. But after a little while, when that computer became idle, the program started to run again, with the result that I could not play at Party at home.

Is the program defaulted so that it turns on whenever the computer is idle? How do I turn off that function?
08-19-2006 , 03:56 PM
Whe it is installed, it is set as your default screensaver, so when your screensaver turns on, idleminer begins. Just set your screensaver to something else in your desktop settings or turn off your screensaver altogether.
08-19-2006 , 06:08 PM
I have uninstalled and reinstalled IdleMiner numerous times, and it 100% always closes when i hit Start. It was fine until the latest update.

Hey guys, we are working on getting everything back up and running smoothly. If you are having problems it is a great help to us if you send the log of the run where the crash occured to dev@idleminer.com

The log appears in the idleminer directory. It is a file called log.txt. Attach that file to the email and send it over to us.
