Thanks for getting back to me. I have checked my name and it appears to be the same in all places and my seat selection preference is the same on Stars as it is on the HUD. Any other ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Any chance of adding prima/microgaming to the list??
Probably not for the next 2-3 months or so. I'm moving next month. I figured I'd get Party working well, add some stats people requested, sort out any remaining issues and then get on with packing.

Hi there. I got this program up and running and built the database from my old hand histories that PT processed to a separate folder. The only problems I am having is that the HUD does not refelct the number of hands I have on people. For example, I know from using PAHUD that I have x number of hands on a player, but RealTime shows a number way smaller than x number of hands. Also, for some reason, stats don't show up on all tables that I am playing at.

FYI, I have the FullTilt settings box configured with the /handhistory folder as my observed folder, the /screenname folder as my HH folder and the archived folder as my archived folder. I rebuilt the database and imported over 200K hands. Do you know what the problem may be? Thanks for this program, it has TONS of potential.

You will need to build a database from the archived hands. If you are using PT, you are probably moving the processed hand histories to another folder. On the FT settings menu, set the archived hand history folder to there. Then hit the "Rebuild database from archived hands button".

If you have deleted the processed HH files, you could still try exporting them from PT to the archive folder - I think it's someting like Utilities\Export Hands to File in PT. This should work unless you set up PT to not save the hand histories. In which case, I'm afraid you are out of luck

I actually rebuilt the database from the old archived hands before making my post unfortunately. I rebuilt it again yesterday after work, opened up 17 tables to datamine, and opened up RT. RT recognized all the tables and had stats in the RT window, but when I restored each table from the tray, no stat windows appeared....weird? When I first used the program, the stat windows would show up on any table I was observing, now, nothing?

I am finding that RealTime crashes on me when I do a "rebuild db from observed hh". This is for party hands that have been exported from PT, and occurs after 30k hands or so. I don't have a problem with doing the same with FT hands.

There is currently no logging option with the party settings so I can't provide anymore feedback.

I'd actually noticed something similar with Stars. Some players stats didnt show up. I found if I dbl click on the table entry in the Realtime window, it usually sorted it out. Or you could uncheck and check to check-box next to the table name for the same result.

I heard someone else was having problems with a Party HH. Sorry about that

The logging option on the FT menu works for the whole program. Could you set it and send me the log.txt file? If you see it is crashing at the same point, could you look at the last few lines of the log.txt file, see which file it is trying to import and send me that file too. That would be awesome.

I didnt have that many Party HHs to test - 35k hands or so and they were all pre-Oct/06.

I have a new version ready, but I really wanted to get to the bottom of the Party prob before posting it. To do that I need a HHF file that's causing the import to crash.

The way to find out which file is causing the problem, is to switch on the logging (it's on the FTP settings) and rebuild a database. When RT crashes/hangs, look in the RT folder and there should be a "log.txt" file. If you look at the last few lines of that it should say what file it was trying to import. Can anybody send me a file that causes a crash to "mlamb1@gmail.com"?

I guess it is a bit of trouble to go to and it seems fair I should offer a reward. How about a free copy of the program

Here's what is in the latest version, which I'll post when I find and fix the Party crash.

Messed around with import speed... should be faster to rebuild a database now. Not as much of an improvment as I had hoped though.

Fixed stars sync bug. If you sat some hands out and thus missed the sit/stand message for someone being replaced at the table, the old players stats remained there.

Added check on screen name when you open a table. Stop ppl not realizing their entered screen name is incorrect.

Display stats menu revamped and additional stats (wtsd, w$SD, fold to steal (bb + sb) added). You have more flexibility in formatting the layout.

Mike,

Holdem manager is adding prima support. Would be sweet if you could take a long into that network.

Are you sure? I tried again and it seemed OK

Anyway I'll post another version tomorrow. I think I fixed the problem Oracle was having, but I need to test it a little first. Kind of late for me now.

Well I'm not really in competition with HEM.

I've been asked to do a version for another site from somebody who offered to pay pretty well. I'm guessing I'll do that first. Adding new sites isn't that hard, but it's pretty tedious. I kind of like adding new features better, but if someone or a group of people were to make a similar offer for Prima...

The database format changed with the additional stats, so I'm afraid you will have to rebuild them. You should probably delete the prefs.txt file too, so you may as well put it in a separate folder.

http://www.mediafire.com/?cl7thtcildu

Oracle sent me a Party hand history file that was causing a crash. I sent him an early copy of the fixed program. He ran it on 500k party hands and it seemed OK. I'd be interested to know if anyone can actually play with it now.

Oracle did report that it did slow down at about the 100k hands imported mark. I'm not sure exactly why it would do this - it seems to go relatively fast for me all the way through to 300k FTP hands. The way I did the threading was pretty tacky. If you are importing a lot of hands it might be best to leave the computer alone rather than surfing the web etc.

Change log 1.04

Messed around with import speed. It should be faster to rebuild a database now. Not as much of an improvement as I had hoped though.

Fixed stars sync bug. If you sat some hands out and thus missed the sit/stand message for someone being replaced at the table, the old players stats remained there. Right now players who leave, still have stats displayed until someone new sits in their seat. However when someone new sits, any stats you have on them will be displayed at the start of the next hand - as opposed to having to wait for them to play a hand.

Fixed a Party import bug.

Added check on screen name when you open a table. If you open a table and the screen name you entered is not the same as the site has you logged in as, you will be prompted to change it. I hope this stop people not realizing their entered screen name is incorrect.

Display stats menu revamped and additional stats (wtsd, w$SD, fold to steal (bb + sb) added). You have more flexibility in formatting the layout.

How much memory do you have? Actually the players take up most of the database space. I have around 300k FTP hands and about 30k players. This gives me a 10MB database file. I'd be reasonable certain you could handle at least a million and probably 2-3m hands.

CPU speed doesn't seem to be a problem. The program slows down with lots of tables because of the graphics rather than the database.

There is a limit of 100k files you can import when rebuilding the database from the archived hands.

I don't know how difficult it would be to differentiate between the heads up and non heads up tables but if the steal statistic was used for PFR from the button in HU games and the folded BB to steal was used for % BB folded to button PFR these would be incredibly useful stats in HU games (much more accurate ranges than PFR and VPIP stats).
