Just a quick point, why does it go mental in terms of CPU usage every time I start the app up. Surely after the first time it has looked in the hh directories, built the db, and so only be a matter of adding any new hands the next time?

It seems to take several minutes before it unfreezes itself and is ready for use.

Edit:- Have found the problem, if you have lots of .tmp file in your hand history directory, its causes this problem

Found another problem, if you rebuild the database from observed hands, and while that is running you click away from the window (i.e. I went to surf the net) it causes the import to freeze.

I think a useful addition would be for time consuming actions like importing the hand histories to have a progress bar that works on a separate thread and so doesn't become frozen. The user would then know the program hasn't crashed, and maybe with some idea of how long to go.

Another issue, is if you have multiple tables open and you move around the stat box in one, it never updates the position in the others. Then the last table to close is the remembered stat positions.

does it lag on FT like PAHUD ?

Love the software from what I can see so far. The one stat I'm missing that I'd really still like to see is "fold to steal". You have steal % on there, and having the compliment like you do with c-bet and 3-bet would be great. Thanks again.

mike, thanks a lot for adding the font and stars support. currently giving this a whirl as my main HUD.

if you're interested, suggestions for other improvements:
adding s/d stats: wtsd and w$sd. I assume these would be pretty easy to implement.
adding 'calls PFR': i find it very helpful
adding table averages on the overlay
more colour choices

also, maybe consider making the pop-up stats available on a right click, with the left click for moving the box. I keep misclicking them, but that might just be me.

I agree with your other suggestions as well. I would also like to see some more info in the Realtime window - my $won/lost per table for example.

And is it just me....why wont it show me my session stats like GT+ did. So I could get a better feel for my table image at each different table. I have tried the option in display preferences, but it still shows my total DB avg stats.

I have only played a couple hundred hands with it so far, so bear with me for being a noob.

It should show you the session data. A possible reason it doesn't is that the screen name isn't set up correctly. Realtime looks in the HH folder for a subfolder. It assumes the player's name is exactly what the folder name is - I wanted to make it easy to set up.

This worked fine for my FTP name, but when I tried it on Stars my name had been altered - they lost a period from my screenname in the folder name. (Possibly FTP does something similar, but my screen name there is strictly a-z chars) I didn't notice the problem until saw my career stats instead of session stats.

Win/loss on a per table basis is easy enough and I liked that column in GT+.

It prolly would if it were actually reading the hands from my current session in real time. I fired up GT+ and RT at the same time - GT+ had 330 hands on 1 player, while RT had only 226. Obviously the 226 were from when i Exported HH's from PT and loaded them into RT. I will look into it more closely tomorrow.

I would like to get your HUD to work properly, I like it A LOT. I will take some screen grabs if need be so you can show me what I am doing wrong.

i have some problems with PAHUD (but not enough to not use it). I have no problems with Realtime.

Not that I'm complaining, but for me, it also shows my overall data, not the session data. The session data would definitely be preferred, or even the option just to turn off my stats. But yeah, I don't really need to see my stats over 60k hands and have them updated every hand.

I think I found out what I had set-up wrong. It was all user error. I now got it to show my individ stats by session. Sweet.

- And make sure your username is in the Your Screen Name box - and that it is typed exactly like your username in the path file boxes. Basically your username needs to be in all 3 boxes where the arrows are pointing.

Im having problems using it.

I load it and it says "could not overlay6" and then "could not generate mucked hands"

I downloaded the mfc71.dll and that did nothing.

I use vista. Any ideas?

stats dont show up over the right seats. i play 6max and i have the auto-center feature checked.

I am now having similar problems.

I never used "Auto Center" in the FFT client cuz it would mess up my GT+ stats. I didn't have Autocenter checked in RT either. It would place everyones stats right, except mine. I am confused to the best way to set it up. I dont care if it autocenters or not - so long as all the stats line up every time.

I haven't had the problem with stats in the wrong place. I do use the auto-center function in both FT and RT. Could you just open one table, drag the stats to where you want them to be, then close it so it saves, then have it be set? Just an idea. I do know I did a lot of messing around with font sizes and moving around stats so it wasn't covering up people's cards, etc..

Oh, and thanks Fozzy for that tip about the session stats. I made the changes, but haven't played yet - but I'm guessing that should fix it.

I should also add that I play Full Ring, so that could be a difference.

I will try again later today - using the auto-center in both, with just one table, one session, til I get the stats set up and am sure they are working properly. Then I will try and close everything out - and start a new 6 table session like normal.

Anyone else get the "cannot overlay6" error? It can "See" your table but cant overlay stats?
