So does Full Tilt use the .svg files now or the jpeg counter parts?

Nice cards. It's a shame about the LoRes scaling.

The default FTP deck is SVG. That was what I used as a template to make my test deck (half-suit!=deck) for the old beta client.

Thx, but I think I would rather do it manually.

Hey everyone. Just finished making brand new cards from scratch along with making a few modifications to my last mod. Just replace your C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\Graphics\NewTable\ with the one I included in the .zip file and you should be good to go. Feedback is always appreciated!

SiQ_ez deck.

Yellow clubs for the color blind folks (like myself) which makes playing much easier.

and as you can see they look clean on the smallest table setting as well:

PM me if interested.

Fozzy was just wondering how to get you card backs to work. I downloaded your link and then placed it in card backs but could not get anything to work.

You could replace the pictures of the unwanted avatars with transparent images. Like the one below.

First deck I'm posting. Works fine at all table sizes that I can tell.

7-zip of the cards are here

Let me know if you have any comments.

Here is another thing that makes me bummed about this switch to SVG. Anyone can take an SVG file and tweak it, and voila.

My post from the old mods thread on the 8th:

and here we are today.

FYI, I don't care if you actually did edit my SVG, obv. They were free and meant to be used and abused. I just know that editing other people's SVG files won't stop with card backs.
I actually did not know those were your images, the card backs that i have edited looked much different. I don't like when people steal my work, so i'll change them quite a bit more. I didn't bother to read the thread before i stared posting, mostly because, like someone said, it was too cluttered.

Unzip using www.7Zip.org

Once you have 7zip installed:

Close FTP

Start > My Computer > {location of downloaded .7z file} > Right-Click the .7z file > 7Zip > Extract to "\FTPb4BacksPlacardFozzy.7z"

That will extract them to a new folder.

Open that folder > Ctrl+A (to copy all 4 backs) > Right-Click+Copy on one of the highlighted files to copy them all to your 'clipboard'.

Now browse to:

C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\Graphics\NewTable\Common\Cards\card_backs

Right-Click in an empty spot > Paste > Overwrite existing files.

I could make an installer pretty easy, but that is not very high on my list of priorities (read: not at all).

Another +1. Yellow card backs are also important. Maybe more vibrant than they are in this picture.

Here is two my most requested decks. If you would like them or if you already got my previous let me know and I will send to you free. Offering both for $5 via Tilt transfer.

As you can see both have yellow/black spades and 10/T for tens. Look great small or Big as native .svg files.

LuckyLady Deck

Wider Deck

Both have these backs:

As well as desaturated background and table.

WARNING: ARROGANCE ITT

With FTP switching to .svg, many of us are now dabbling in deck making that wouldn't have tried it before, and I've noticed a trend. Many of us are making great decks, but they have font alignment issues that make them unusable to a picky person like me. Here's how to make a good .svg deck and make sure all your stuff is aligned and the same size:

1) Make your first card - 2.svg, aligning the text as you see fit - Ideally you are using text at this point so that you can change the text by just hitting BACKSPACE, 3.

2) Design the 4 suit backgrounds. For each suit, save a template file with just the suit stuff, and not the numbers. If you group the background into one object, it will be easier to deal with later.

3) Copy your first card 12 times and rename each 3.svg, 4.svg, etc.

4) Edit each card and using the text tool change the numbers for the new cards then save. If you select the text and hit BACKSPACE-3 instead of deleting and re-adding, you will keep your alignment the same.

You should now have one suit complete and template backgrounds for the other suits. Because you used a copy of your first card, your numbers should be in the same spot on each. Depending on your font, some of the numbers/letters may be way wider than others - squish them to match the other cards. Note that you are only resizing the numbers, not moving them at all.

5) Copy all 13 files to the other suit directory.

6) For each card in the new suit, delete the original background and replace it with the correct suit background. Make sure not to touch the numbers.

If you did it right, all your ranks will line up on the flop and give your deck a more professional feel.

OH LOOK FREE MOD

unlike those damn money grobbing whores above me
I do work for tips though

charging for table mods is like walking into a subway and asking people to give you money to play the guitar

you need to play the guitar FIRST, then they'll send money

so let me soothe you with my music...

Also included in that zip are black/gray spades (optional use) for you colorblind folks and a more dulled down deck (again, the default is the bright, colorful one) if this one hurts yer eyes a wee bit.

Can I just say I'm loving the free stuff you guys have been making?

I was really excited when FT "upgraded." Not cause their software is now any better, but because it spurned a new wave of creativity from the community. Good stuff.

is it possible u guys can post the lores version of ur card mods when u do post them?
i think alot of 2p2ers are going to be multitablers that are forced into using lores....

This stuff really should be getting posted on the ftp mods wiki imo. That's what it is there for. You can upload pics there, but the files have to be hosted elsewhere and linked to in the wiki page text. Once you login and click one of the edit buttons, it becomes pretty easy to just use the existing code there as a template to post your own.

This is part I hate. Lores just sucks, period. Even the normal deck svg cards are suffering some degradation when scaling below default table size, which seems like a step backwards for FTP. I may just end up getting some 30" monitors so I don't have to play on tables smaller than default.
