I've been using this for a few days now and I must say the highly rated tables have been quite profitable for me. I do have some questions about how the rating is determined though.

You say that part of the rating is determined by overall winners/losers. What determines an overall winner or loser, and how much does this affect the rating?

How much does average VP$IP affect the table rating?

Any chance of adding support for Pokerstars?

6max score is always more than full ring coz of higher vpip% not because the games are more fishy, right?

Wow this looks amazing thank you so very much, us bodog users don't have much to go on these days.

been using this the past few days and it's great so far!

urgh. this application is actually decent/accurate (not a good thing for those of us who have spent a lot of effort datamining...).

1 question: How is this different from pokeredge?

We use a different calculation for six max tables than we do for full ring tables. Basically, a six max table needs to have a higher average VP$IP to get a good score for that part of the rating. I think what your noticing is that six max tables on average tend to be fishier than full ring tables mostly due to their popularity.

Thanks for the compliment. To answer your question, the biggest difference between our site and PokerEdge besides the obvious platform differences is that we do not provide information about individual players. Just a composite rating for the table. Our goal is to help you find a good table on which to play, not to profile individual players.

This works pretty good, but is there a way to differentiate between NL games and the cap NL games? Keep up the good work.

What do you power the bodog stats with?

Also, you're missing 2/3 6 max on bodog. Great job though!

Currently there is no way to differentiate between these games. It's something we can look into adding in the future.

The stats come from our own mining software.

We will look into getting that limit added to the list.

dave: about the screen name thing

what i meant was. when us 2p2ers are sitting at tables and looking for more to play at and we use your website, the tables that we are sitting at will lower in rating becuase we are good players, when there might actually be a whole bunch of fish there and we might be encouraged to leave a good table.

so, if in registering our accounts we provide our screen names to you, you can factor this issue in, you know what i mean?

also some more details about the tables would be good. showdown info is one thing that would help a lot.

Interesting point. It would take a good bit of added functionality to be able to ignore you from from the results displayed on the webpage if you had given us your screen name. How much of a drop in rating are you seeing usually when you sit down at a table? It should take just a few minutes for the rating to reflect you being seated in the game. Maybe we can find a way to mitigate this problem.

im extremely impressed after crushing some low nl games on fulltilt last night because of your site.

are you mining all the time?

ive been so impressed that i wondered if this is the end of my dataming
however, ive been doing table scans on party, of which i have a massive database and ive noticed there are tables of which i would consider best or near best to sit at that arent coming up on your scans

this could likley be becasue i have stats from party from as far back as feb last year

anyhow, im very impressed regardless, although the site seems too good to be true

i guess ill just keep my mining going until im satisfied you guys arent missing anything

for fulltilt though in the meantime, its been awesome and i thank you

Yeah seems like the 10 Max Tables only got that much fishier. I won't be there very much thanks to this website. One thing I would like to know is how the hell are you guys doing this for Bodog. I would love to use Bodog with PT

works for me without registering..... Just takes a bit to filter your results.
01-02-2008 , 10:36 PM
If anyone does not get a confirmation email after attempting to register send an email to info@tableratings.com and we will get it worked out for you. We are trying to get a few bugs sorted out in the registration process.

For those of you that were able to run searches before getting to confirmation email did you eventually get the email? The way it is set up the emails should be instant.

Most of the tables with the highest ratings are wrong.

I am looking at 2/4 full tilt tables and all the soft ones you listed are filled with a bunch of good regs and 1 25+ vpip player. There are a couple current 2/4 FTP tables with 2 players or more with 30+ vpip and those aren't near the top.
01-02-2008 , 10:52 PM
Yes I did get the email a day later and the website told me that I had confirmed it even though I had not. Hope that helps.

We might have to tweak our rating system for some of the higher limit tables where the distinctions between the players are not as great.

Has anyone seen similar problems in games say $2/$4 NL and above or $5/$10 Limit and above?
