I'm hoping someone here might be familiar with the software Statking by Conjelco. I've been using it for years. Since my main database was getting very large, I decided to start a new database for 2009. Everything was fine until yesterday when I went to enter a session, the dba file was missing! The old one is still there.

I searched my entire computer (as best I know how) and the damn file just up and disappeared! What the heck could have happened to it? When I search for the database name, the search comes up with a shortcut, but cannot access it. I checked my recycle bin on the outside chance I deleted it by accident and it's not there either.

This is crazy. Can a file just disappear like that? I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions. Otherwise, I'm missing all my data for this year. Thanks.
