RVG has mentioned a number of times that you should be posting bug reports in the HM forums. If you're looking for immediate help that's probly your best bet.

my apologies.. got it fixed anywho and omg I nutted on myself when I was able to take notes through the HUD. I think two most important things I would like to see added now are 1) HUD on the replayer and 2) fold donk bet to raise stats

Is there any way to take notes in HEM and have it show up on the HUD notes? That would be sweet

would much prefer if the note poped up when you hover instead of the instructions.

changing the font would also be great
either as an rtf control - probably a pita from the hud but really useful if you can edit the notes from HM

or at the very least as a default font - the current text is HUGE on my monitor.

while im thinking about it id like to be able to change the font on the pop displays too - text is generally way too big

cut and paste functionallity woould be nice too.

as it is, there should be a + sign next to players name.. if you click the + sign once you can type in the note you want to make and it will turn the + sign into a *. then when you hover your mouse over the * voila! you can see your note in a nice yellow box

just bumping this and requesting another stat to be added to the pop-ups. I want to know how often someone folds to a check-raise by street and overall. Is this something that could be done with any kind of ease?

my hud crushes every now and again. its probably my old computer. it runs perfectly fine otherwise though. at the moment i have to go to holdem manager then go through the menu system and click relaunch hud. i was wondering if there was any way of running the hud via an icon on the desktop . that way im just 2 clicks away instead of 4 or 5.

basically, is there a file that i can run to get to the hud?

Yeah there is, Fozzy posted the path in the big HM thread already I'm sure.

HMHud.exe or similar I think.

So since this morning i've been getting an error that says "No valid games were found. Please check your filters or import hands". This happens whenever I try to change anything in the cash games tabs, be it to refresh, change the filter, go to the graph or whatever.

I didn't change anything, it worked last night but not now. I tried patching to the latest experimental patch as well as uninstalling and reinstalling. Any advice?

I've searched through the threads and various forums. So I'm hoping this question hasn't been asked and that someone can possibly help me out with it. Anyhow here goes, maybe someone could tell me how to do this over a vpn specifically hamachi (it's idiot proof which is good for me). I have a postgres database running on my home computer and I want to be able to access it from my laptop. Accessing it on my home computer requires me to enter an ip address and port number like 127.0.0.1:5432. Obviously this is an local host IP address and port number so how would I connect to that database over the VPN? When i tried entering the VPN ip address and port number (5432) it didn't work. I actually turned off my firewall on the off chance that that was the issue and it didn't appear to be. Any suggestions out there or setting that I need to enable which I do not know about?

try it with your lanip (why do u use vpn at home anyway?).
to find your lanip go to:
start, run, cmd [enter], ipconfig [enter] and look through the listed ips. i believe the first one should be your lanip.
try enter that one.
also make sure (if you are using a router) the port 5432 is forwarded correctly.
another thing might be that your postgresql server is only accepting lan/hostmachine connections so try looking into this too. i set up a similar setup and got it working but i prefer now to just duplicate my databases locally so i have the same databases locally stored on my laptop + desktop pc.

all info about my hints is avaible on google, you may look aswell in the pokertracker forums because there are lots of threads to this question.

I play a bunch of poker at work so a vpn seemed like it would be a good solution.

I think this is probably the issue as I can see the vpn ip address of the other computer through hamachi.

i don't even need entire 30 day, even 5 day trail is enough, since i play poker everyday.

Troubles concerning PostgreSql and port 5432 and not being able too contnect too server are mostly caused by interference from the AntiVirus software people are running. I used NOD32 and it wasnt possible too use it while using postgresql. I even had too completely remove it before being able to connect to the database with HM.

So, remove an AV software before installing postgreSQL. Try and reinstall it afterwards (doesn't work with NOD32 which continues too block access to the database server if reinstalled)

Just buy it. It's so cheap and even if you never use for more than a day it's important to encourage competition in this market.

I wouldn't go too far and do the uninstallation thing. It's just a matter of opening port 5432 either in your router or in your AV software. Something named Packet Filtering, or Ports in AV.

All I want to say is that removing the AV might be a solution but I would leave it as a last resort.

1.04 is almost ready and it is a big update. I'll provide a few days of unlimited use for people using the trial in this version so you can see how far HM has come in the last 2 weeks. Will be out late tomorrow night if all goes well with tonight's test build.

I downloaded 1.04 Release Candidate 1 but I can only import 2500 hands.

I thought this version was the limited time but unlimited hands version.
