using 1.02. Hud still comes up as the default. I suppose I could custemize it the way I want it, but I dont want to waste time if it is just going to reset again.

"have you tried deleting your prefs file?" what does this do?

I have a serious problem with Holdem Manager, or something.

I exported all the hands from my PokerTracker database (NL100, NL200 and NL400) and imported the text files to Holdem Manager. However, when I open Holdem Manager I get only a limited amount of my NL100 hands. Only one of four of my PartyPoker aliases are there.

When I look in the directory that I imported from the NL200 and NL400 text files are there. I have no idea why they were not imported.

I got about 1,000 errors while importing, but that is less then the number of hands that I have played on NL200 and NL400. I could not access any debugging information.

SQLErrors.txt contains only 1KB:
The Error: ERROR: 42703: column "lastimportedhandnumber" does not exist
Occurred when running ExecuteNonQuery with this query: Select LastImportedHandNumber from ImportedFiles limit 1
The Error: ERROR: 42P01: relation "hmplayernotes" does not exist
Occurred when running ExecuteNonQuery with this query: Select Note_ID from HMPlayerNotes limit 1
I re-installed Holdem Manager and tried to import the hands again without luck.

How should I go forward?

Thank you for any help in this matter.

Wow how do you find the energy to breath? Jesus if spending 5 minutes to make some changes and see if it remembers them why even bother with fooling with any program I mean christ you have to expect that at some time youre gonna have to do some thing with it am I right?
It should be working for you I had problems with in vs 1.0 but it is fixed now so you should see an improvement. Next time atleast try it before you start bitching.
I agree the hud should have been working before it was released but he did fix all problems in a day and I think that what happened was that they changed some thing and it messed them up.

I don't know what it does but it's recommended by Roy in the post in this thread where he introduced 1.02.

IMO i think jumping into this for a measly 10$ savings is a big mistake without waiting for kinks to be resolved (which i can already see that there is) and not waiting for the competition's to come out for comparison...

Sad as it is, this program is worth the $70 to me even if PT3 HUD is released next week. I needs a next generation tracker.

I want thank Roy for taking the time to make a wonderful product. Yes there are bugs and as a software developer let me clue you in---there will always be bugs.

Many of you have forgotten what the software world was like before Roy stepped in and let us have a sneak peak at HM. Pokertracker was the only game in town and it was written in the 1995 style of software. It was cumbersome, ugly and lacked many features but it was the only game in town. So we all purchased it and lived with the deficient features.

Zoom ahead to few months ago when everyone was wanting 3bet % and every other stat in the world. Pokertracker 3 was not even in alpha stage yet and Roy stepped up and delivered a wonderful product.

Amazingly, the pokertracker team saw the writing on the wall and fervishly worked on PT3. Pokerace hud and pokertracker now became one development team and raced so as not to lose their market share.

now here we are...and you clowns need to show some respect to Roy. Idleminer for bodog came out and 2 days later, support for it was added to holdemmanager. The reason it was not added sooner was due to not having hand histories from idleminer for bodog.

I am sick of hearing all of this trash talk about holdemmanager when if it was not for him, PT3 would still be a thought in the back of their minds due to no competition.

For the record, holdemmanager kicks @ss.

cheers
Boon

Thanks a lot for the comments but don't make this an obituary PT3 has had 6 months to see what I've done, what I haven't done, what people have asked for, what has worked well, what hasn't. Now I have a chance to see what they've done - this is what competition is about. Counting Holdem Manager out would be a big mistake (and I know you are not doing that)

To be honest I have not been reading any of the threads because 1) I've been told about the general sentiment some people have and 2) I'm too busy working on Holdem Manager! I haven't even looked at PT3 yet because there are a bunch of things that I need to get done right now.

I've worked my butt off on this project for about a year, gave people a free solution and support to meet their poker needs for 6 months, took all of the feedback and tried to make as much of it happen as possible and imo raised the bar by a huge margin. So, not sure why a few people feel the need to go way out of their way to criticize or be so overly negative. I felt bad for Poker Tracker Pat when he took some bashing from a few people when HM first came out, same thing with Josh - building and supporting software like this takes a ton of effort.

Anyways, back to coding

Roy

someone of your stature, sure, do it down. however i play 50nl and have been for the past 3 years, and i'm sure a pricing war is going to begin < 6 months.

just like scamming, except legit, 2p2 are full of suckers

Don't think so. I don't think the software will become any cheaper. It's not like you have to pay a lot for it and it's the money worth for sure

Keep up the good work Roy! I just bought a license and I am really looking forward using HM. Things can only get better in the future when you know what the competition is up to. Props to you who started this revolution in pokersoftware!
