There are many table selection programs, spadeeye is one such. sixth sense is another, poker table rating yet another. Only you can decide which is "best", and an open question like this is asking for spammy answers unfortunately.

If it is def. worth it is a choice only you can make - I suggest you search this forum or google, there are lengthy threads here with many questions/answers on these products.

What they do is provide an alternate lobby, usually mixed with data from your database, so as to aid you in table selection. That sort of thing.

imo the best table selection method is to know your players and pick seats/tables accordingly to exploit them.
