In every hand that plays out, particularly online, I usually guess as to the opponent's hand range given table dynamics/actions so far/etc. My question is: Is there a program that calculates expected value given ranges instead of opponent's actual hole cards. I like PokerEV but it is old and Sklansky bucks just aren't doing it anymore. I've got too many hands to go over them individually.

how does one manually go about calculating equity share based on given hand range?

I have a program planned to be designed that would take ALL the known hand histories of any players preflop actions. It then would estimate their hand ranges according to their preflop bet sizes and positions and other actions taken, then it would bring up a transparent/adjustible HUD chart that would show you what cards or range they had when they made the same move before.

I have not gotten it programmed yet for a few reasons. It is basically designed and all laid out. I just need a good programmer.

If anyone is interested in helping me build this let me know, we can work out a deal where you would get some rights to sell the program, like a affiliate and make a percentage. Unlike other affiliate programs you would not have to pay for the product you could have unlimited acess to it. We would have to agree on a few more things also.

PM if anyone is interested in working helping to do this. VB6 would be a good language to do it in or another. I just think that I could catch on to VB6 easier than others though.

How will you account for players adapting to other players and for players switching gears? Many players have different stats when they're sitting at a table where there are 3 nits then if they're at a table with 3 maniacs.

Anyway that's not allowed by most sites's EULA.

Why the smiley? The ideas, design and planning all have came from me. The programmer does what htey do best I do mine they do theirs, we both make money. That isn't to difficult of a thing to understand. I already have a deal that I am doing right now that is similar with another programmer. And yes we make money.
