As I understand it, the update had some significant differences from the beta. I'm going to be patient with Gary because he's done such great work in the past. In the meantime I'm getting used to playing with what we've got and it gets easier every session.

I think it's pretty terrible that nanochip hasn't even posted a response in this thread. I've bought Full Tilt Table Opener about a month ago and already it's not working anymore. I am a software programmer myself and I understand that he's very busy with that other piece of software, but he could at least let us know whether or not he's even going to support Full Tilt Table Opener.

Nano; since you've been working with FTshortcuts and the new FT software for a while now you probably have a decent idea of whether or not FTTO will be salvageable?

Sorry for the delay in getting back here...

As you probably know the Full Tilt change on July 8 radically affected the way external software (like FTTO) can interact with the FT software. I have looked at the changes, and it looks like it is a huge job to get FTTO working again, if it is even possible. I won't know for sure until I dig into it more.

The market for FTTO is very small, and I have had to put my energy into our other program Poker Shortcuts in the short term. Shortcuts was also affected greatly, and I am having to rewrite much of that program. Based on how it is going with Shortcuts, I think I will be tied up with it for at least a few more weeks.

I wish I had something encouraging to say, but I want to be honest with you. I will post again when I know more.

If HEM table scanner can open tables and join also, I would think this is totally possible. GL Gary, we are all counting on you.

New ftp lobby today helps enormously but i'd still love to have this app back.

This guy already has a cash table opener running for FTP (just not as many features as FTTO) so it can't be impossible.

This is obviously not the case, as mentioned above some guy had a FREE table opener working at fulltilt just a few days after they updated to the new software. I paid $25 for FTTO about a week before the fulltilt update and obviously no effort has been made to update the software since.

I appreciate that shortcuts is the more popular software but we are many weeks on since the update now and surely some small portion of time could have been dedicated to making FTTO work again considering 'dashortstack' had a basic one running a couple of days.

Suffice to say I'm not happy with the lack of support for this software now that it's been established that this is neither an 'impossible' or 'huge' job.

FT Table Opener status

I have taken a long hard look at updating the FT Table Opener software, and I have come to the conclusion that it would be very difficult to modify the existing software to make it work with the new Full Tilt software. Full Tilt has made significant changes to their lobby (and tables) and has made it much more difficult for external software to interface with it. For these reasons, we will not be upgrading Table Opener.

If there is interest by others, I will make the source code for FT Table Opener available (it's written in AutoHotKey), perhaps as a GNU open source project. If you have interest in this, email me (email address is on our contacts webpage).

I wish I had better news for you about Table Opener.

Since many of you are interested and it looks like FTTO will not be repaired, I think its appropriate to let everyone here that there will soon be an alternative to FTTO for the new full tilt software. Check out the thread on the Poker Companion software

FT Table Opener is now an open source (free software) project. You can download the source code and view documentation here.

I have received several emails from people interested in helping to upgrade this program to work with the new FT software. If you are also interested, let me know.
