I take it back, the new version has the same problems. It cleared my buddylist once already and is still randomly shifting certain letters/numbers in sn's so that 3's become #'s and buddies aren't recognized...
Could you PM me some of the names of the buddies that are having this problem? Then I can do some testing and see if I can find it.

Thanks, but I think I figured it out. It only happens when I have the lobby sorted by Plr/Flp and a table is highlighted that is moving around (b/c Plr/Flp numbers are changing). I'm not a software guy, but maybe FT is stealing focus from the buddy search window and that's screwing up the entries?

In any case, when I sort the lobby by table name, I don't have the problem. I eliminated a lot of variables before I came to that

It still deletes my buddylist once in awhile, but I've gotten used to backing it up after every session...

Thanks for keeping this script alive, it is awesome.

I just got back to poker after a break and I am having trouble with this script. I downloaded the new version and the array thingy, and FTB opens and recognizes all my open tables, but when I select a table none of the players appear in the window on the bottom right. Any thoughts in solving this are appreciated.

As you can tell I am a computer moron, and it is probably worse than you suspect. I am a mac user and only the windows side of my MBP for poker. So if you have an idea can you use small words. Thanks again.

I have the same problem.

The problem is that FullTiltBuddies1.7b1.ahk defaults the path to "D:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker". I edited line 45 to set FullTilt_Path correctly, and the issue's fixed for me.

TY runstop for your work.

But I still have the problem with the player list being empty. I have FT installed to the default directory. I've had the tables open for 15+ minutes and the list still doesn't populate.

I restarted the program and the buddy list is blank. I know this question was asked before, but it wasn't really answered. How do I save the buddy list?

And also, what does "export buddy list" do?

exports buddy list to a text file (.csv) in the format:
buddy1
buddy2
buddy3

just try it, you'll see how it works.

The buddy list should be automatically saved as you add buddies. Others have experienced a problem where the buddy list is randomly deleted. I haven't had it happen to me so I can't really track it down.

If you are talking about the players list in the bottom right box, remember that that only shows the players for the tables you are sitting at. You need to select a table in the lower left box to display the players at that table in the lower right box.

I've made a new version of this script that allows you to set the path to your Full Tilt install through the GUI. It is no longer necessary to manually edit the script.

Just choose Set Full Tilt Path from the Options menu.

You can find the new script here:

http://www.overcards.com/wiki/moin.cgi/FullTiltBuddies

BTW, it's not necessary to re-download the ahkarray.ahk.

Please let me know if there are any problems.

As I've mentioned, I haven't been able to reproduce the issue where ppl's buddy list is being deleted. If anyone can figure out any pattern to it, please let me know and I'll give fixing it a go.

I'm having the same problem that I do not get any player lists for the tables I am sitting at. I have FTP installed to the standard directory, although I have my hand history files saving to a different directory.

Out of curiosity, I tried changing it to the directory that I have the hand histories saving to and I still have the same problem

I have downloaded the current version of both files

any help would be greatly appreciated

Are you using the most recent version of Autohotkey? The current version is 1.0.47.01 and can be downloaded from: http://www.autohotkey.com/download/.

Please let me know if this solves the problem.

For anyone having this problem, do you see any tables in the lower left box? This is the box labeled My Current Tables.

For me the tables are there, but most of the time the player list is completely wrong. It even lists players that are not sitting at ANY tables on the site. Also, sometimes the incorrect player names will temporarily appear under "My Current Tables" instead of the player list.

I just started using this and it is definitely going to be great once all the bugs are out. Right now I am having a couple of issues though. First, the players names dont update. I joined the tables, the names showed up, but as players came and went it never updated the lists.

The 2nd thing is opening tables my buddies are on. Once I tried this and it closed FTP down completely. The next time i tried, it opened the wrong table. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

I've made a number of updates to this script and have released a new version (mostly bug fixes). You can download the new version at http://www.overcards.com/wiki/moin.cgi/FullTiltBuddies. A new version of AHKArray.ahk is not required. However, please make sure you have the version that is attached to overcards page.

IMPORTANT: please notice that the configuration has changed

Let me know how this works out for everyone.

Changes made:

- The configuration of the path has been changed. Formerly the path was set to where Full Tilt was installed. Now the path should be set to where hand histories are being stored. This is the same path as shown in the Full Tilt software under Options | Hand History Options. This is for users that store their hand histories in non-standard locations.

- Bug fixes. Attempted to fix following issues that some users were experiencing:
<ul type="square">- intermittent deletion of buddy list
- intermittent random capitalization and shifting errors when buddies are being searched
- open tables not appearing
- various errors where data was being displayed in the wrong location of the GUI (e.g. player names showing up in the open table list, etc.)[/list]

I absolutely love this script, I use it every time I start my session. However, I used to use v. 1.4 and updated a few days ago to v. 1.9. It's faster, but when I double-click on the table my "buddy" is at to open the table up, it totally messes FTP up.

In v. 1.4, it simply searched for that buddy again and opened the table from there. Can this be changed back?

Thanks.

I'll take a look at that part of the code. In the meantime, if you don't have version 1.4 on your hard drive any longer, you can download it from: http://overcards.com/wiki/moin.cgi/FullT...uddies1.4b1.ahk

Also, can you be more specific about what happens here?

Are you running any other apps besides the usual PokerTracker, PAHUD stuff?

This is the only AHK script I use. When I start my session, I load up PT, PAHUD, FTP, then the script. What I think happens when I select a table my buddy is at is that the script first sorts the tables by Table Name, the scrolls down until it hits the table name my buddy is at, then it tries opening the table. This usually takes a long time and will often not work at all (sometimes it opens the wrong table).

I'm not sure if this was intended, but the way it worked in 1.4 was better, where it just searched for the buddy again and opened the table from the Find Buddy window.

I have downloaded the latest AHK release as well as the latest version of your script. I am still having the same issues, as well as not, the script does not open tables properly. it just scrolls through the list and opens a random table (most of the time its not even the right limit)

Your help is greatly appreciated. I love this script

I know the table opening is not always working correctly and am working on fixing it.

But, I thought I had fixed the issue with the player list not showing up. When you say you have the most recent version of the script, are you using v1.9 (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...umber=11299331)? Also, please notice that the configuration of the script is now different. You need to tell it where your hand histories are being stored rather than where your Full Tilt software is installed.

Please let me know whether you are using version 1.9 or not and that you have configured it in the new way.

Thanks.

I am using 1.9, but I didn't configure the HH location. I just did that now and it didn't seem to change anything. Out of curiosity, why is it even needed?
