Is there any way to import multiple buddies at once or do you have to type them individually?

I've made a small update to this script that adds the ability to export your buddy list to a text file. This functionality appears under the File menu:

Do you have any idea why this script occasionally deletes your buddylist? Or why it randomly capitalizes numbers when entering the buddy names in the FT search window?

The script simply uses the functionality of the FullTilt software. The search it performs is the same as if you manually did a players search through the menu: Request | Find a player...

I don't play SNGs so am not sure about that answer.

This is killing me - is there any solution?

This hasn't happened to me yet. If / when it does, I'll try to track down the problem. In the meantime, you can periodically export you buddy list as a "backup" solution.

- Download and install Autohotkey: http://www.autohotkey.com/download/

- Download and install FullTiltBuddies1.6b1.ahk and AHKArray.ahk from: http://www.overcards.com/wiki/moin.cgi/FullTiltBuddies

- If necessary, open FullTiltBuddies1.6b1.ahk in a text editor and change the line: FullTilt_Path := "C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker" to the path where you have FullTilt installed

- Run the script

This script is crucial for me but has some major bugs...

1) It deletes the buddylist every once in awhile. Not a big deal b/c I keep mine backed up all the time, but annoying.

2) Randomly uses the "shift" key when entering buddy names to search for. It doesn't matter for names with just letters, but numbers often get switched to symbols, and the buddy isn't found. This is really annoying.

Can anyone pick this script back up? I'll gladly make a donation to anyone who can fix it...

I updated, and now it doesn't work at all.
here's the error i get:

it appears to be some prob with the AHKArray file.
I downloaded the new one.
and it's in the same directory as the main program...

any ideas ?

Doh! After all my talk about being sure to download the uploaded AHKArray file, I forgot to update it on overcards

Please go back to the overcards page and download AHKArray.ahk again. I've updated it now

Hope I didn't cause too many problems with anyone's session last night.

easye: Thanks for the update! It's MUCH better. I've only run it once, but it had many fewer accidental "shifts" when entering buddy names. The only ones I noticed were the first letter of screenames that are capitalized were often entered as lowercase. I don't think that affects finding the buddies at all though.

I'll keep using it and post here if it deletes my buddylist or I have any other problems.

FT or Stars sn for a donation?

all is it possible to import a buddylist from Sixth Sense into this app. I see the ability to export buddies but not import. I have a huge buddylist from Sixth Sense. The buddylist from SS is an xml file.

yes just for redundancy and tried your app just today and it is pretty damn cool, also with your app I can see every table where a buddy is while with Sixth Sense I usually filter tables on mulitple parameters ie I usually screen my SS searches for tables with more than one buddy and a VPIP>30 or 35 depending on time of day etc.

I regularly update my buddylist in SS to make the process as efficient as possible..also in general I add people as buddies if they have over 35% VPIP and 50+ hands..I dont use the "Find Player" function much on SS.

I take it back, the new version has the same problems. It cleared my buddylist once already and is still randomly shifting certain letters/numbers in sn's so that 3's become #'s and buddies aren't recognized...
