The player lists for each table you mean?

Do you run full tilt out of
"C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker"?

If not, you have to update the script before you run it. You also have to wait for a couple of hands at the table to get the HH populated.

If neither of these are the cases, I'll have to take a look at it in more detail.

This sounds awesome. I haven't been playing on here much lately, but maybe I'll start. Either way, thanks.

Yes and yes.

I don't save my hand histories there, however, would that make the difference?

Also, feature requests:

1) Grouping buddies by category so you can have one for fish, one for actual friends, one for Mike Matusow's drunken spewage, et cetera.

2) Direct import from PT

That would be it.. I read HH out of the HandHistories directory. It's how I get the people seated at each table. It was just alot eaiser that way.

Makes perfect sense.

If I change the directory to where I save them will it screw up something else?

Alternately, if I create a shortcut within the FullTilt directory and name it HandHitory will that work?

I don't believe that Full Tilt allows for this, does it?

This might be possible, but Windows' shortcuts rarely work like that (ie - not in a reliable fashion like unix's symlinks). Is there a reason you don't want to just save HHs in the default folder? (C:\Program Files\Full Tilt Poker\HandHistory)

I like both these ideas. I'll try to come up with something in the next week or so. You're thinking the direct PT import would be something like a filter where you get to pick vpip, agg, etc?

(Work takes up a majority of my time. All I need is a $1000nl bankroll, alot more talent and voila! online pro with time to code! )

There is, but I can put the shortcut there and that will work just as well for me.

Yep, or failing that, just list the players with a certain number of hands and let me select.

Another small feature suggestion. When you save a player as a buddy, save the game level as well so if you suddenly see them playing a different level you know something funky is going on.

Yeah, I was thinking of something along these lines.. Also having a 'last seen date' so you can purge any buddies that haven't played in a few months.

Looks like it'll be the weekend before I have a chance to look into any of this stuff, but thanks for the requests!

just started using this
when I open it up, the list of players at my tables never changes. So after 30 or so minutes, sometimes i have a table where the only name correct on the list is me.

I've tried closing it and reopening it, but that doesn't change anything.

any idea?

I have this problem as well.

When I try to find buddies it says "buddy already exists!"
and it creates a file that says

[BuddyList]
Buddies=[all my buddies]
[Options]
ShowOnlyOnline=ERROR

And this

When I try to find a player that has a number in their screen name unstead of showing the number when i search for that player it shows the symbol.

For example, enter to search for fish562 and it searches for fish%^@

Is there a way to fix this?

Hi Reef,

I should think so... Percula posted some ideas in this thread - I subsequently posted the requested postgres code here, so maybe Percula has made some progress.

The idea is fantastic - find buddies you didn't even know existed, lol I suppose the idea is applicable to most sites aswell, if need be.

If nothing is posted, I'll probably have a go at this myself some time - but it won't be soon, need to fix and post the new BetPot (like yesterday ), then I'm planning to turn my attentions to a stars-planner type AHK unless the awesome party-planner is updated in the meantime.

When I open this script I get "ERROR" under Buddy Name...anyway to fix this?

I get that ERROR also. The script worked great for me last night. I put in around 200 "buddies" and it was able to find any online. However, when I opened it up today I was dismayed to find my nice "buddy list" had disappeared.

Surely you dont have to manually enter each name every time you run the script? That would defeat the whole purpose surely?!?

Am I missing something obvious like a save list option?

Working now - knew I must have been doing something wrong!
I had moved the script file into another folder and it wasn't reading the saved buddylist.ini file.

I just found this... TY TY TY TY TY. Everything works, except for when I double click on a table name in the GUI it goes to the play money tab in FT's lobby. I am a AHK noob but I assume it has something to do with this part of the code:

;Activate the main table
WinActivate, Full Tilt Poker - Logged In As

;make sure Real Money is checked
ControlClick, FTCButton14, Full Tilt Poker - Logged In As,,LEFT,1

;sort by name
Click 71, 281

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Ryan

Percula hasn't had time to scratch is arse of late.

What my idea is... Search my PT PSQL DB for fish, basically selecting players that have been auto-rated then displaying the results of a site search for those players, showing the table/stakes that they are playing with the option to "join waiting list" or open the table.

Where I stopped was trying to get the query built. Frankly I am so rusting with SQL and busy enough, that I just haven't got back to it.

So if some PT/SQL guru would like to get me started with a query, I can try to pick back up where I left off. What I am looking for is the query that is ran if you were to goto (in PT) "Preferences -> Use Player Filter -> Player Icon". It would be nice to be able to use all of the criteria in that player filter, but that might be asking too much of said guru...

Copy and paste code into notepad. Save it as whatever.ahk example: Fulltiltbuddies.ahk

Download and install the latest version of http://www.autohotkey.com/. Now double click on the .ahk script you made earlier to launch it.
