i see, i'll take a look at ipoker tonight to see exactly how much work will be involved to add it. (PS, pokerstars fudges its numbers, full tilt is by FAR the largest poker site)

I've always wondered about that. Stars lobby always has a player count of almost twice what FullTilt have, yet there seem to be less less cash tables running on stars....at least at the limits I play.

Okay... I will see what I can do to fix this problem. Just installed windows 7 on my laptop and I have been able to replicate the error that others have seen. Hopefully I will be able to determine the cause of hte error shortly.

I have found that my program seems to run properly in windows 7 when run in compatibility mode for windows xp sp2. I will try to resolve the problem completely as soon as possible.

-closing tables and lobbys when i bust or win and continue opening so I always have max tables

Prolly challenging to do all this but it would be a great help to sng multitablers

thanks

hi everyone.

Apoligies for the fact that my software still does not work quite properly on windows vista / windows 7. I have found the issue and I will resolve it tonight. Apparently the newer operating systems have much stricter access controls for the program files directory. As a result, I will move the user settings files into the user's application data folder and everything should work nicely. Check back in about ten hours for the updated version, or try running in 'compatibilty mode' for windows xp.

For those of you waiting on sng opener, it's coming soon enough....

Tested it on Pokerstars and was wondering what functions work currently on pokerstars? I know that only a limited amount of the features currently work on there but wasnt sure what is working so far for pokerstars.

very little is working on pokerstars. My number 1 concern is getting the existing codebase to work on Full Tilt in any version of windows.

As of now, the layout manager should work fine with pokerstars, but the highlighting is probabally a little jacked (tables won't go back to blue after being turned yellow)

The popup manager should work on any site. It has been developed in a way that it is independent of the program it is being run on (although you will have to set up your own popup handlers for pokerstars, etc.)

key shortcuts will not work and the custom lobby will not work either. As soon as i finish up feature development for Full tilt i'll start adding pokerstars and ipoker / partypoker.

Ok sounds like everything you mentioned was working fine for me then on pokerstars on XP. Cant wait to test out on W7 with FTP.

as promised, windows 7 support has been added. I think a restart may be needed after installation (I got some weird behavior the first time i tried it), but as far as I can tell, everything seems to work fine on my 6 year old "windows 7" laptop. In general, everything lags a little more than I would like, but it should be much snappier than XP if its running on a dual or quad core PC built within the last 3 years. Let me know what you guys think / if there are any more issues.

hm... try installing the 4.0 .net framework off the microsoft website. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

I think that should clear up any issues, let me know if it doesnt and I will revert to using visual studio 2008 to develop.

Tried to test on Windows 7 and am getting the .net framework error. I am downloading the above mentioned .net framework to see if that fixes the problem.

looks like it is working with windows 7 after the .net update. to be honest it appears to work better with Windows 7. Nice job.

Can you make the fold/check hot key to click the fold to any bet by any chance? Would speed up the process while multitabling to be able to check the fold to any button. Also how can I make the hot keys work when I am in a diffrent window. Was playing a play money table right now while typing and called all in while typing a sentence and had my mouse cursor over the IE window?

Also, when I started the application the login came straight up but after that the main window took a long time to come up, and my computer specs are pretty good and only a couple months old.

Hi,

Thanks for the software!

The program loads fine for me, however, I can't seem to get the table opener to work, even after reading the User Guide. I'm sure this is most likely a user error, however, video tutorials for this program would be amazing!

Also, do I have to be in Classic Lobby view or Standard Lobby view?

Is anyone else not able to download the program from the propokercompanion.com website? I just discovered this thread and want to try it. The download link that should be working is apparently here.

Hi everyone.... sorry about my absence the last couple days. I have spent the last two days caught up with illness, doctors visits, and most dreadfully installing countless versions of windows on my computers. I am aware that the download link is currently not working properly. I will fix this as soon as I have fixed my software so that it can run properly on Windows XP as well as Windows 7 (presumably vista as well, but why would anyone run vista?). Hold tight for a few more hours, my software should be back fairly soon.

I would like to remind everyone that this program is very much a work in progress..., although I expect to have a stable build in the 5 hours or so. Keep in mind that the custom lobby will not update properly until I have a permanent server up and running (probabally 2 weeks).

THANK YOU, dashortstack! I actually haven't used it yet, but it looks like yours may be the only program that highlights tables ... and that actually works!! I've tried all software and scripts in the thread, and none seem to do just that w/out unresolved errors for Full Tilt. I'm seriously keeping my fingers crossed on this one.

(Btw, if anyone knows of another program that isn't broken in some way, let me know. Losing it trying to find something functional.)

I am working to resolve all of these issues right now. I am also hoping that my efforts will mean that people do not need to download and install a beta version of the .net architecture.
FYI..... I believe the time it is taking for the lobby to load is due to internet connection issues (if my server isnt running, it takes a long time to realize that there is no server available). I will resolve ALL of these issues as soon as possible.

Thanks for trying out my software, as soon as i get all of these issues resolved I will be able to get back to feature development. I return to college for my senior year in 2 weeks and my amount of available time to work on this project will triple (although some of that time will be spent on the necessary college activities such as partying, basketball, rioting, etc.).

hang tight. My software highlights effectively and actually works... sometimes. Reliability is my no. 1 concern and making my software work on all microsoft operating systems is my current goal. I will post when I have resolved these issues.
