Hi,

I'm developing a new software application to help with multi-tabling. Features will include

1) A custom lobby (supporting mutiple sites)
2) An automatic table opener
3) A layout manager
4) A robust popup manager
5) Full Tilt and Poker stars Support (initially) Party Poker later

All of these features will be fully customizable and the goal is to automate every step in the process of playing poker except for actually playing poker itself. This should allow players to stay in the best tables at all times and to play more tables at one time than without the software.

If anyone is interested in a testing my current program, please email me at ryanoswald (at) gmail. I am looking for feedback (mostly feature requests) and an initial test base.

Thanks!

Hi there,

If you can deliver all those things and have it work across multiple sites you will have many many customers I am sure. I have been looking for a table opener for pokerstars and ipoker for ages, so that alone would interest me.

I'd be interesting in being involved in the testing on FTP, stars and ipoker provided that the code can be verified to be clean of any nasties.

If you could not only limit the table opener to cash games, but also to register in SNGs that would be absolutely amazing.

If you can use keys to perform actions (c for call, f for fold etc) then I would be interested in testing it. If it will be a direct competitor for Poker Short Cuts then you have a small window of opportunity to get it out before PSC is available in a fully working state. Good luck to you.

Sounds good, if it's also usable for SNGs. Autoregging, closing popups, closing finished tournaments are the basics I need. I am using SFSO en debustifier now, but lately they start to hickup more frequently.

+1 and with FTTO not working anymore there would be a big demand for this. Let us know how it's going.

I'm working on a poker tool to assist with multi-tabling across several websites (or just one...) . I would love feedback. My goal is to fully automate the process of getting into, getting out of, and arranging cash tables. The software should increase productivity by allowing users to focus more specifically on playing poker and less on repetitive tasks. The software isn't finished but many features are available.

Currently Pokerstars and Full tilt have several features supported including a layout manager and a popup handler. These features, as well as others, will be improved before I release a final product. For now feel free to check out a more complete description at www.propokercompanion.com.

Looking forward to seeing this, sounds like a great piece of software, is there going to be a table opener too?

I merged the new thread with the one from last week - in future please keep all posts about this in here (I can edit/update the OP for you if you want - just post what you want changing here or send me a PM).

I'll be adding all the features you guys asked for relatively soon. I just spend the last few days piecing together a webpage with some of the information that has been asked for. Feel free to scan my software for viruses etc. its perfectly clean but if your at all worried i suggest you wait and see what other people think first.

-A full tilt opener for sit and gos should be a piece of cake compared to most of the features already available.

FYI: Full tilt is releasing new software again sometime soon. It will have a lot of nice upgrades, but you can expect Poker Shortcuts software to break again quite often (as well as other similar software applications). what i have for now will work for most situations. I'm going to focus now on getting as many of the requested featuers up and running on Full Tilt. Keep an eye on my website for updates, there should be new features up and running every 2 days or so.

I'm glad to see some positive feedback and people willing to test. It makes me far more willing to dedicate the time it takes to get this project done. When I finish this program, I will certainly use it myself to play poker (in fact I developed it originally for myself to automatically enter me in twenty tables. Only recently did i decide to make publicly available the custom tools I had been using on my own)

Is there going to be a cash table opener in this? Something similar to FTTO?

cash table opener for Full tilt is the number 1 priority.... should be completed tonight (:

cash table closer for Full tilt is the number 2 priority.... should be completed sometime this week. This is a little bit tricker becuase you actually have to monitor what is going on at the individual tables. Nevertheless, I already have code ready for both tasks and all I have left to do is write the GUI for it.

In general, any feature asked for will be added... in general ordered by ease of implementation and how many people would benefit.

To answer a couple other questions, this will not be a direct competitor to Poker Shortcuts. My goal is to fully automate every step in playing poker on Full tilt except the actual poker play itsself. Of course, I have to constrain myself to within the terms of service.

As for shortcuts like "c for call, f for fold," these would be VERY easy to implement, but I believe they may be against the TOS for full tilt poker and pokerstars. If you guys can get an email to verify that full tilt will allow such features I would be happy to add them. Until then, the last thing i want to risk is my software getting banned.

This would not be forbidden.

thats not hte TOS, thats just a list of software.

http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/room/tos/

5.6. AUTOMATIC PLAYERS (BOTS). The use of artificial intelligence including, without limitation, "robots" is strictly forbidden in connection with the Service. All actions taken in relation to the Service by a User must be executed personally by players through the user interface accessible by use of the Software.

It is clearly stated that all actions must be made by player through the software that pokerstars has provided. a third party program that interprets a key press and responds by signaling a key pressed is cleraly bypassing the user interface accessable by the pokerstars software. Technically, such a program would be agianst the TOS and I would not want put my user's accounts at risk. An explicit email from Pokerstars and full tilt would be more than enough to convince me to add these features.

since TableNinja is in the "acceptable tools and services" list and that it does exactly the thing you want to do (ie : c -> call, f -> fold), I don't see why you're software wouldn't be allowed too.

Anyway if you really want to be sure : support@pokerstars.com.

Poker short cuts does this also. I am pretty sure its ok as long as it is not an automated action. You are still initiating it with a button press, its just not on your mouse, its on your keypad. Keypad shortcuts are all legit as well.

Now if you had a program that auto folded a certain range without user input that would be way against the TOC.

Hi everyone, I just added support for automatic opening of cash tables.

FYI... the server is only set to scan for 'micro' tables for now. I will fix this soon.

Hi everyone....

My software still is not complete but I have added a bunch of updates just so you guys can get a feel for what I am aiming for. A couple notes...

I have only tested most of the features on windows XP. I have kept vista in mind during development but no guarantees until I go back and verify everything works with aero. For now if you run vista and run into issues, you can try out the xp-like theme.

Also, I do not yet have a full time server running. I likely wont have one until I finish the bulk of the feature development for Full Tilt. This means that the table data may not be up to date or may not include all blind levels. I have included a copy of the server program for now and it can be set up to pull table info out of a lobby that is in 'classic view' mode.

My plan is to finish up feature development for full tilt and then polish everything up to make it run fast, crisp, and effectively in XP and vista. Then I'll start adding in other sites and advanced features such as support for PT3 databases and a built-in HUD. My estimate is about a month until full tilt is 100% supported and polished with the initial feature set.

As always, I am ALWAYS looking for feedback. I understand that some of the features do not work, my goal at this point is make people aware of my program so they can help direct its development. I am an avid poker player and will intend to use this program to 20-table full tilt NL cash tables after its completion, but I will add any reasonable features as requested.

Sorry for lack of documentation....
