Details? Error messages?

What version of the converter are you using? Go to Help -> About to see. My workaround only works for version 1.2.9

Awesome. Is your donation info posted anywhere?
02-22-2008 , 06:42 PM
Yes, donation info is in the Help -> About menu in the program, and it's also posted here: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...6&postcount=45

Remember you don't have to donate but I do appreciate them!

1.2.10 is uploaded to be compatible with the latest Cake history update.

This is a quick fix since I will be busy for most of this evening - I still intend to address some more problems with converting histories. The only thing I know of that still needs to be addressed is the case when there is a dead blind posted when there is no SB - The history seems to be converting correctly but there is a bug in PT that causes this to not work. I may need to switch the history format over to an FTP history, since they allow situations where there is no SB, so it will be natively supported without me having to hack the history. However this will take some time so expect a few days before I'm able to release a fix for that.

Shiz. I'm getting this now:

Code:
System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
   at CakeConverter.CakeConverter.convertHandsBtn_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)
   at CakeConverter.CakeConverter.convertHandsBtn_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)

The tool is extremely helpful! Thanks a lot!!!!

Unfortunately, I imported the hands of my last session before I recognized that there is a new update. Now there are a lot of incorrect hands in my PT database. Does anyone know if there is a way to delete those hands (or replace them by the corrected ones)?!

Thanks...

Utilities > Database Maintenance and Options > Advance Purge > Filter to the specific dates and site (PS) that you want deleted. If you played on the real PokerStars in the same time span, you might want to undo your alias (if applicable) before purging so that only the Cake pseudo-pokerstars hh's are deleted -- the ones under your cake screenname.

Thanks... unfortunately this doesn't work in PT3. But I think they will add this function soon.

In that case, maybe you can create a new DB? I don't know what PT3 offers, but that's the only other thing I can think of.

Yeah, I already did that. I created a new db and imported all hands. It took only a few minutes for 20k+ hands and everything's fine now. Thank you!

Will this work for PlayersOnly as well since it's on the Cake Network and I believe the HH's are the same as Cake and Sportsbook.

Thanks for the great work.

I can't say definitively since I don't play there but I'm pretty sure they will. You can always give it a shot.

must i purchase winRAR to run this program?
02-26-2008 , 06:50 PM
No, you can just use the freely downloadable version, it'll just nag you every time you load the program.

seems to work pretty well. its missing alot of hands though. site says i have about 22K this month and its only uploading like 17K....oh well...better than nothing

Not really sure what to put in that table prefix field it just says Cake_. So then what do I put in there?
02-27-2008 , 08:31 PM
Just leave it as is - this is meant as a way to tell the difference between Cake and Stars hands.

I'm not very good with computers. This is something that doesn't convert in realtime, correct? I should be converting at the end of every session, yes?
