Someone needs to come up with better multitabling software for cake .. the software put me on life tilt .. running anything over 4 tables is a nightmare .. something like stars urgent table for cake .. i love playing my tables tiled and stupid cake doesnt let me minimize my tables .. complete waste of my 23 inch screen
12-09-2007 , 06:50 PM
Sir: all of my cake tourney hands imported as cash hands and I suck at tournies so im obv down like 20k it says it PT. any way to distinguish these from cash hands now that they are already imported?
12-09-2007 , 09:41 PM
You'll have to purge those histories...tourneys don't work. You can go to Utilites -> Database Maintenance to purge those "cash" games.

I'm sure someone could bang out some .ahk's for Cake, but Cake is so inherently laggy that it may not help much.

also, while looking at these hands and where my AA lost to AK on a 55Q45 board, I realized this isn't going to work for pokerEV. What about pokergrapher? will that be accurate?
12-10-2007 , 06:07 PM
not accurate for me.

off by ~800 at 3060 limit.

off by by like ~1000 at 2-4nl
12-10-2007 , 08:51 PM
Yeah I already said that EV analysis won't work. I have to have a hand to show down, but cake doesn't say what the winning cards were (it'll say what the winning *hand* was, but not the cards). PokerGrapher *is* accurate however (at least it should be), since the winnings should be tracked correctly.

Victor, Is it possible you are missing files? Did you receive any conversion errors, or errors importing into PT? I do know that I had a friend test this for me and there was a chunk of ~350 hands right in the middle of the hh that were literally not there, which may have happened to you as well (this was out of a total of ~10K hands). I'm baffled as to why Cake would stop working like that but that's the only other thing I can think of.
12-12-2007 , 01:51 PM
mewsiclovr, the only errors i recieved were for the hands that were only partially written to the file when i closed down the table, at the end of the file. obv i was not involved in those hands.

i went thru the hh files, hand by hand, counting how much i won or lost. it is inline with how much is in my account, so the hh files appear to be accurate.

if you want i will send you the files, but its no big deal to me. i dont mind not having pt and dont expect you to cater to me.
12-12-2007 , 08:00 PM
i've found some errors, but this may because the HH i had was old and cake might have changed the format. here are two hands that i won but the converter screwed up and said i lost them. in the first HH it says i only collect $1 from the pot, but in PT it says i have a net loss of $740 in this hand.

I'm sure this is repetitive but I'm assuming this application is useless for looking at game notes in PT b/c of aforementioned AK problems, only showing winning hand etc. The program was accurate within $15 of my winnings which was cool, but I'd love to have the game notes, thats all I really care about. It seems as if this is not doable, but if it is and you can handle writing the program for that you'll have several donations coming your way. Good work nonetheless, cheers.

sdf,

That's interesting. I wonder if it is related to Victor's problem. Could you PM me the original history for those two hands please?

easy,

I can see what I can do. What sort of discrepancy are you seeing right now on the game notes? Although I don't know *villain's* cards, I know what you were dealt so I don't see anything on this tab that I shouldn't be able to calculate.

Is this compatible with omaha hands?

Not right now, but that's not a bad idea either, if there's interest. I'd need someone to test for me though, as I don't have PTO.

I think I solved this problem, please d/l and try the latest version.

Victor, I'm pretty sure this was the same problem you had so try giving this another go.

Hey MewsicLovr,

1) Thanks for doing this. I've been playing at Cake since March and have been dying for a converter...especially to use PT to keep track of my stats.

2) Will this work for Cake Skins (sportsbook)?? I'm stuck on Sportsbook right now clearing the hefty bonus and the converter doesn't seem to be working for me. When I convert the hands, it says "done. no errors", but then there is nothing in the folder. I have tripled checked my input/output folders...but no go. It would seem like it would be the same cuz the HH's arent's any different. Anyway, any insight would be appreciated...thanks.

Hi MewsicLovr

first I'd like to thank u for making this possible, but I run into some problems with poker tracker. It will only import 28 files at one time. I have over 1000 files and I import them for one time and missed lots of hands. Please help me on this.
Could you tell me if there is a way to delete the import files from PT? I'm going to try to re-import them 28 at a time.
Thanks!
Vhunter

Are you trying to manually import the files or do you have it set up to auto-import a directory? The best thing to do is to copy the generated files to your normal stars directory and have PT import from there. You can set up a directory if you don't have a stars account.

Is this running the latest version? There was a problem with high stakes hands. If you continue having problems, let me know.

ok wtf, looks like its just me but when I download it and try to run it I get an application error...
12-16-2007 , 09:32 AM
Any chance that it could merge all the SN's I've used? I hope if can, since in the log the SN which is displayed as being dealt cards will obviously be the hero.
