Convert PokerStars tournament history e-mail* into stripped .txt + .csv for results tracking.

The script produces a text file named TH+current date time with the e-mail stripped down to the essential info plus a semicolon separated file called PokerStars History.csv which can be imported into a spread-sheet for easy results tracking without manual input.

The .csv file will be updated with new tournaments if you run this regularly and the same tournament will not be put into it twice.

Also included is a script to quickly change decimal place from default . to , (comma) for Europeans etc. Run this prior to spread-sheet import.

Settings: Insert your own details at the top:

Limitations

Will not take rebuys into account, may not work with some types of satellites, fpps and freerolls due to limited testing possibilites. Please pm me at 2p2 (Everlong) if you find histories that aren't converted correctly.

I read description but forgive me for not knowing what to do with this scrpit. I'm gonna play a set, then report back after getting the tournament summaries and throwing them into a spreadsheet.

I just requested a tournament summary of my last 8 tournaments and ran it through script. Very nice. In the text file, MTT(and STT) players will definitely enjoy being able to cut through the long list of entrants and see just their information. The CSV file is nice for spreadsheets. In the CSV file tourney id, buy in, entrants, date and finish were there but won and net were missing so there might be a bug. There is something in there for both MTT and STT players to appreciate in this script.

I have only tested this on my own tournament summaries and there is plenty of room for stuff I haven't spotted. Good news is that it's very easy to fix.
