Thanks Fozzy.

On a related note, I decided to fill in the white borders on my cards in ms paint. I think I much prefer them gone, as the cards are still very visible but don't jump out at you as much.

Those of you who downloaded my cards might wanna try it.

One request I have:

I like to place notes on players, and when the tables are normal sized it shows up as an 'N', however when you resize the tables to a smaller size, the 'N' becomes so miniscule it's almost impossible to see. Is there a way to make the 'N' a lot bigger or change it to something a lot more noticeable when multitabling?
Hey, it turns out this is not so hard. I replaced the N with a larger yellow square. The file you need to change is called note.bmp and is in the data\gameimage\pk folder. Open it in MS painst and mess around with it and overwrite.

Here's mine:

When you black out your name at the top - you ought to do it to your name in your seat too - being in a 3 handed game.

Sorry for the hijack.

StarsPlanner 0.4d Now supports auto sizing / tiling / drag-swapping for Absolute tables (you must be logged in)

Obv. more features to be added soon, but good for now I hope

Trying it out now. I'm sitting at a table but the Capture/Configure/Delete buttons are grayed out. I'm probably doing something wrong. I just downloaded it to the desktop and ran it and sat down at an AP table.

I copied a table I liked and renamed it to top.dat When I replace the file, only the hand replayer table gets changed. What am I doing wrong? I'm putting the table in the data folder btw

You're not in quarter view are you? Did Windows ask you if you wanted to overwrite the original top.dat when you pasted in the new one?

If the modded table is showing up in the replay I can't imagine why it wouldn't show up in game.

I'm in quarter view and Windows is asking me if I want to overwrite the original file. I keep getting the same old Absolute table

Okay, you need to be in top view to make the top.dat table show up.

the Quarter View tables are named qt6.dat, qt9.dat, qt8.dat and qt6_one.dat

Classic View is bg6.dat, bg9.dat, bg8.dat, bg8_one.dat, bg9_one.dat

Top View on the other hand is controlled by just one file, top.dat

How do you guys get these stuff to work with Photoshop?

If I make an image and save it as 8-bit BMP, it comes up all messed up.

EDIT: I'm using Photoshop 7.0. When I modify a file, I open an existing one, then Image>Mode>RGB it. When I finish editing, I do Image>Mode>Indexed Color, make sure it's 8-Bit. Then Save As BMP file (Format: Windows, Depth: 8-bit, Compress(RLE) unchecked, Flip row order unchecked)

I havent done anything with with AP in a month or 2. Dilznoofus was the AP guy - but he just switched to Stars, cuz of the Rigging Scandal.

Are you talking about modifying the table images, or other images?

That sounds right. I'm confused. I think it's possible it has something to do with your palette settings, but I really guessed my way through it.

Do you have MSN Messenger? Would be easier if we worked on it in real time. PM me your AIM or MSN name if you want.

I'm always happy to see this thread bumped even if I'm not playing there . I still check this forum like five times a day.

I prefer bright colors for important info because I hate missing someone who's still in a hand. Here are a couple of mods I made:

http://www.mediafire.com/?7cwcizhomyz

Also, I made a more visible note image because it's hard to see the small N:

http://www.mediafire.com/?8ex13xvcoxt

The note image is slightly larger than the original so it's more visible.

Dilznoofus, what created the text on your screenshot "One pair, threes" in the upper-left corner? (I've been on AP for only a few weeks, if it was something they recently got rid of.)

Can anyone tell me how to modify the one vs one HU table background? Which file is it? Every mod for other size tables works fine for me but this one. I've tried bg9_one, bg8_one, bg7_one.

There are 3 HU tables I think.

For classic view:

bg9_one.dat
bg8_one.dat (for HU Stud SNGs)

For quarter view:

qt6_one.dat

Thanks but the newest AP HU classic default background still shows up. I've changed bg9_one.dat and every bg file I could find. I logged out of AP and re-booted, double-checked bg9_one.dat to make sure its my mod, but no go. The classic still comes up. I dunno where it comes from.
I may try re-downloading AP software from scratch.

I have renamed the table "top.dat" and nothing is changing?

Maybe something has changed that I haven't noticed. I never play HU. I'll look into it.

Okay, I just looked into it. Classic View is not supported for HU play, says the software. Easy answer is to play in top view. The quarter view you can mod by changing qt6_one.dat. Those are your two options as far as I can tell.

Edit2: I'm confused. You're saying you keep getting classic view when you open HU tables? Because I keep getting a message that classic view is not supported when I try to change it. I only have top view and quarter view. Uninstalling and redownloading might be a good idea if you're getting classic view on HU tables.

Enervate,

Do you have Windows set to show all file extensions? Also, you are in top view, not quarter view, right?

Yes and yes.

Also, anyone have some nice card backs, like fozzy's ftp copaq 5.4?
