I'll be living in St. Petersburg/ Tampa area for a couple months and was wondering if any casinos run pl/nl Omaha 8 games? Even better if someone knew of a tournament within the next 3 months.

best bet in jacksonville gets a 1/2 (possibly $5 bring in) plo/8 game going sometimes. played in it once and it was ok except for short stacks, but i've heard from others that it can get pretty deep.

pensacola has a great 5/5 uncapped big o game

As far as I know their is still Plo8 that runs in west palm beach. 1-2 with a 5 dollar bring in and also a 5-5 Plo8 which I believe is by invite only. At hard rock Tampa they have a 20/40 mixed game that normally includes stud/8 and big O as well. Their is a 5-5 big O in south Florida but that one takes a little difficulty getting into. The person who coordinates it is very picky with who is included to play

Met a guy who lives in Miami, he told me that plo8 is running a lot over there, from 1/2 to 100/200, but I don't know where or how often tho
Any input would be appreciated

Come on up to Tallahassee they get a 2-5-10 half PLO/Big O game at Creek Entertainment in Gretna once or twice a week with some well heeled punters. They also have off track betting and terrible hot dogs, very degen.

I played big O pot limit in a dog track near the alabama border in Pensacola. Seemed like it ran semi regularly but that was about a year ago. Also not sure if that still qualifies as "Florida"

Yeah this game. You can probably throw a rock and hit Alabama from this place, and like any other Florida dog track I have been to it is kind of a dump lol. Game was very good the several times I played in it
