Bagged 19k, busted early day 2 when GII OTT w/ (AK)33 vs. A234 on 258Qr

Misplayed one hand late day 1 when I bet into two players in smaller pot OTR with top two and 2nd NL and called off raise from rivered set of 2s.

How's the field in that?

I played the 8-game this year because I figured even if I was giving up a little to experts in any particular game, my general knowledge of all the games could mitigate that. OTOH the times I played a pure LO8 WSOP event they were soft at the beginning (folks trying to check-raise for pot in the first round, ha).

Variable, but plenty of value early. I was running over the table for most of day one, then with so many bust outs, we got some good players. Allen Cunningham was at my table for a few hours on day, one. Day two I played with Allan Le and another very good PLO8 player, Mark Dube.

Competence varies quite a bit among entrants ime. Attracts quite a few non-Omaha specialists (my entire day 2 table ex me) and many players who are decent in PLO8 and/or Big O are somewhat lost in Limit (mostly euros who play online and Ohioans where there's a lot of pot limit action).

I wasn't around long on day 2, but he didn't get OOL while I was there.
