That's fine by me. If I can build a bigger roll and then eventually be able to pull it out I am good with that. If I build a bigger roll and can NEVER get to it that would piss me off. What else can I do though?

I have almost never seen a fixed limit o8 game at bodog, but you will find PL.

Have the cashouts on Cake gotten better? For months they were taking like 2-3 weeks just to process a UMW payout. Software is horrible, and the traffic is nonexistent!

Cake did used to be the best site by far for 08. I remember OMGadderall just crushing it on there. Hell even a bum like me was able to do ok on that site. BTW, I did do a cashout on cakeout in November or so for $2,200 and got it by mail within a week or so.

Yeah, Cake gets a bad rep but I don't see the big problem with it. Yes, the volume is terrible, and I know there was a pretty ludicrous situation like one check allowed per month, and everyone after that you had to pay a $35 charge. However, the support was always pretty good, and they offer O8. Really guys, what else are our options now?

The problem is pretty obvious, the casual players are going to be all but gone now. Most regs barely had anything on cake, and the random casual guys are probably too scared to put anything on Cake now, and who can blame them. I'm just curious if anyone has received a cashout from there recently and had it go smoothly...

in the grand scheme of things, Cake was always s***! What made the Cake network decent was the sportbooks, once they left for Merge, Cake spiraled downward into abyss.

Sure, but at this point I think what matters most is which site you can trust. Maybe it's just my experience, but Cake has always been ridiculously helpful to me. I had a problem with a laptop battery from their store and they refunded me even though I waited like a year to tell them about it, and they used to cash me out by letting me transfer to a friend (not make him play) and then let him withdraw when I had problems with my quicktender. Their customer support is quick and reasonably decent... I don't know, this whole thing is a mess obv, but if I trust anyone I trust Cake. (What has the world come to!?! )

This would have been my situation in about 6 months. In summary, I run like ****. But that isn't a surprise.

I'm treading the job market. I've always had a backup plan, but it happened to be 6 months away. Not willing to move out of the country unless I'm sure that there will be a marketplace for O8. Grinding live poker just isn't worth it to me unless I was making similar money. Personally I'd rather flip burgers than play live 40+hours a week.

Playing PLO8 on Doylesroom where I was able to use my Mastercard to purchase "minutes for a phone card," LOL. Voila. I'm in for $25

I do feel a little lucky right now. A buddy of mine who is a live grinder has informed me of a private game at a local card room where they play $1/$2 PLO8 on Wednesday nights. Also, one of the casinos by me has a $5/$10 LO8 game with a full kill that runs all day Saturdays. Fridays and Sundays I'll be playing some NLHE at the local charity rooms where I hear all you need to do is play ABC and you can get by. I think for the time being I'm just gonna wait this thing out, and when any sort of news becomes "official", then I'll be a little more proactive looking for a job, but until then...

Opps your numbers were right forgot only playing 20 hands an hour but 15 bucks an hour is still doable with the kill an all.

ZOMG you have no idea, or maybe you do. I am beside myself right now. I have nothing to do and no desire to do anything. I think I might feel like a drug addict or a alcoholic on withdrawal.

The only good thing that has come out of this is I went to our local casino last night in the thoughts of playing live for the first time but they had no o8 games and the lowest limit they had was 4/8 lhe and I wasn't rolled for that so I played BJ for 6 hours and made $675.

But other than that I am so freaking bored. I have read every article on the net about poker. I have watched every parody I can find on you tube. I don't know what I am going to do to fill this poker need. Owell enough of that, thanks for being my online therapist.
