You've been playing professionally for 9 months or so.

What's the biggest difference in full-time and part-time play?

How do you stay motivated?

Any difference in dealing with downswings between full and part time?

What was your biggest resource in learning the game? Just putting in hands, a book, the forums?

It is unfortunate that you like the Cubs, would you say that it is a genetic deficiency? But seriously, Wrigley Field is pretty cool, though I hated the "troughs" as a kid.

Hilarious.

Sorry to hear you had to live in Sterling.

Why Indiana?

Would you like to move out of Indiana?

What flavor blunts?

Indiana is one of the lead growers of outdoor marijuana and has one of the highest populations of the KKK in the United States. IYO would you say that there is a correlation between the two?

Do you know anyone in the KKK?

Shot taking or BR management?

4 different random cards including a low or all paint with a pair all in pre-flop vs 2 opponents?

Cracked up pretty good reading about the WNBA stool incident. I've gone ballistic over the most ridiculous sports moments because I had a bet on a game I would otherwise never ever be watching so I feel you.

Whats the #1 piece of advice you could give to a new O8 player? Not necessarily stuff like "have this size BR" or "read this book" but just general advice

Do you think plo8/nl08 is still going to be around in 10 years, 20 years? What is your plan if it isn't?
Favorite smoking method? Do you play when you smoke?
What sites do you play on?

What have you been up to? Still playing PLO8/NLO8? Have you moved to PLO?

What advice can you give to a player that can't seem to break away from being a break even player.

What's the biggest difference in full-time and part-time play? Everything. Making sure you stay focused, removing tilt as much as possible, the 100% self-dependency that comes with playing full-time. A lot of these traits are true for part time play, but are 10x more important when playing for a living.

How do you stay motivated? Setting goals at the start of every month is important to me and helps me grind through the downswings. Of course, hitting your goals early in a month has caused me to get lazy so I always try to keep in mind that I can go bigger and improve always

Any difference in dealing with downswings between full and part time? I don't really remember how I handled downswings when i played part-time, but nowadays I just grind through them. Staying tiltless is hard and something I've worked long and hard at, but that's the key, however you may discover and learn this skillset.

This forum is a good resource for moving up in microlimits. When a midstakes winner actually posts in a thread, it would serve the microlimit players well to listen to the advice, because it's hard to come by.

I'd say the majority of my 'learning' has come from self-discovery, along with having a few buddies I consider to be close to my skillset who I chat with on AIM. A lot of players hold the opinion that chatting with other regs off the tables is -EV, but I think in the end both players learn a lot from mutual open discussion.

20-40

3/What percentage of your income comes from Rakeback & bonuses?

anywhere from 5-20%, depending on how much I play

4/Hablas español? Es mi lengua materna.

ive taken six years of spanish in high school and undergrad, and retained practically none of it

out of all my favorite teams, the cubs are definitely the team i care "least" about. you won't see me getting upset about a loss from those sack of bums anymore.

Hilarious.

Sorry to hear you had to live in Sterling.

Why Indiana? blame my parents originally, blame my friends now

Would you like to move out of Indiana? i have a feeling i'll be somewhere out west in the next couple years

What flavor blunts? grape

Indiana is one of the lead growers of outdoor marijuana and has one of the highest populations of the KKK in the United States. IYO would you say that there is a correlation between the two? i don't know, i've never encountered anyone in the KKK

Do you know anyone in the KKK? see above

Shot taking or BR management? both. a winning reg at 2/4 should be taking shots at 5/10 or 10/20 if the game conditions are right.

4 different random cards including a low or all paint with a pair all in pre-flop vs 2 opponents? i cant think of many times i've been all-in preflop vs 2 opponnents lately without AAxx or some double suited AWxx hand. maybe 3456 ds.

10 years, 20 years, who knows. i honestly don't have a plan that far down the road. hopefully i have a fat nest egg saved away if/when poker truly ever dies.

favorite smoking method - vaporizor. i never play if i'm high, only because poker is not a leisurely activity for me anymore.

women - it depends on how high maintenance the broad. the last gold-digger may have cost me 20% a month, but the tang was worth it.

weed - i rarely buy weed, or smoke for that matter. 2x a month maybe, but when i do i buy whatever kush/blahblah/exotic strain.

eating out - 1 or 2k a month, i dunno. depends on if you include bar tabs. i try not to think about the bar tabs thing.

im playing anywhere from 1-2 to 10-20 plo8 nowadays, dabbling in PLO. most of my hands this month have been at 5/10 HU PLO8.

if you're a breakeven player, spot your leaks (ask others especially), and work on them 1 at a time. you'll just mix yourself up in the head if you try to revamp your game entirely.

+1 on Canada. I really wish the USA would **** or get off the pot regarding the UIGEA. If they are really worried about money being laundered to terrorist countries then shouldn't they also be worried about all foreign owned businesses in the USA as well? If that is what the UIGEA is really about...........

One thing that I frequently see in this forum is complaints about "nits". Nit to me is a derogatory term, yet I watch so many "good" players playing extremely tight. I won't name names but I'm talking numbers like 18/6, 17/3, 16/3, etc..

What do you feel is a good VPIP/PFR for FR and would you consider players with those stats above to be easily exploitable nits?

You mentioned being "creative" earlier. Can you give us an example of your creativity or is it something more along the lines of 3-betting K992?
