This is my home game. I'll pick up action on the turn 1-2 NL Big O

I'm on the button, the board is K/J/8/A with 2 hearts (Jack and 8). I have 2/7/Q/10/K with the 7 & 10 of Hearts. There's probably $100 in the pot on the turn

V1 - Very good player, best player at the game who is up $1,000 - bets $40 - stack of about $1,200
V2 - Loose, passive doesn't like to fold just calls the $40 stack of about $500
V3 - Maniac in the game goes all in for $120
While I'm pondering calling the bet as I have a small heart redraw and an OK low, V1 announces all in. I have about $600.

I ask to clarify, if I call the $120, does the all in bet stand and they say yes. I reluctantly decide to fold as I am 100% sure V1 has Q/10 and either a better heart draw or better low draw

V2 folds and the river is revealed to be an offsuit 3

They both had broadway but V1 also had 2/3 and is counterfeited. I would have won the low with 2/7 and split the high 3 ways. Do you just say ok and go all in, is this a bad fold? Looking for some advice. My read though was correct that he had the same hand and a better low but he had no hearts. These are tricky spots. Thank you

Well villain did have a better low draw, and that adds a lot of equity to his hand. The two of you have roughly equal equity heads-up and villain is typically the equity favorite if you get it all-in 3way.

His re-raise could have been a misplay, especially since he missed seeing you hadn't acted but your fold is still probably correct. Don't have all the info which would let me give a better assesment.

I know he isn't shoving his whole stack with only Q/10 and no redraw. I feel like if other guys at the table who are more maniacs or loose did that I may call because they don't consider redraws.

The reason why you should not play horseshitty hands is this and the other hand you posted. If you played a reasonable starting hand, you are very rarely in a spot where you need to guess whether your re-draw is good or not.

I understand that it's a social game and you are clearly not "doing your best" but if you limp along with KQT72 your VPIP is what, 80? There is a common misconception that when others play loose, you should loosen up considerably too. Just play around 30% of hands and mostly raise when you enter the pot. Everything will be so much easier.
