These games often occur when the game is about to break and a few sickos remain. Sometimes super late after a late session, sometimes cause players just don't want to go play another game.

I categorize the games as super loose. Not unusual for a mandatory straddle on the button.

I think any 4 cards together, or any two wheel or any two broadway cards are worth a preflop raise. Additionallly, most aces are worth a raise.

Anyone else play in these games? The situations don't come around a lot, but the spots can be pretty profitable against players sticking to their standards (even if they are loose players with loose standards!)

It is a lot easier to escape with half the pot with bad lows and highs.
