I believe you just need to fold.

I'd fold your likely calling for the chance to chop the pot

Is this a no-limit O8 tourney? Odd.
Is checking the flop really standard here?

Ouch tough spot. I agree with fold, especially on the bubble. But even in a cash game I think it's a fold.
chillrob NLO8 is pretty common on Stars at least. I think a check is standard because we have no low. We might be 33% to win half if we are against a made wheel.
We have to be up against a made low and a gutshot best case scenario. I suppose villain could be making an aggressive ICM play knowing it's the bubble and that you can't really call him but I think we would be leveling ourselves to call here.
We have three aces so what did he call with preflop? Has to be a 23 hand like 23KQ or he has the case ace and is making a move.

If he had A2KK and you checked to him, wouldn't villain be betting here?

A2KK we are 3:2 favorite unless he has a flush draw we are 3:2 dog. It's just not a great spot.
Against a random top 20% hand we are 50:50. Remember this is a tournament we are on the bubble.

Seems like a call in a cash game without any other read, but a pretty easy fold in this exact tournament spot.
