MP+1: 10,602 (11 bb)
CO: 6,384 (6 bb)
BU: 13,175 (13 bb)
SB (Hero): 23,075 (23 bb)
BB: 4,685 (5 bb)

Pre-Flop: (1,500) Hero is SB with A 8 T 7
1 fold, UTG+1 raises to 2,000, 4 players fold, Hero calls 1,500, 1 fold

Flop: (5,000) 4 8 J (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets 1,000, Hero calls 1,000

Turn: (7,000) 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG+1 bets 2,000, Hero calls 2,000

River: (11,000) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets 2,000, UTG+1 raises to 4,000, Hero calls 2,000

Calling a raise pre with this isn't ideal from the SB and obv not something i do almost ever but this guy is showing up with all sorts of garbage when raising or calling and he is a maniac and the stakes are increasing every 8 mins in this comp and I jumped in quite late so need to make chips or go out.

The 2 counterfeits a lot vs his legit hands and unless he has precisely 56 he's gonna need 2 pair+ and a better low to beat me so i went for the bet/call, thinking mostly i will get half or 3 quarters. Flop and turn I don't think there is much to say.

Based on prior play him betting every street is not significant.

I think all three options are close pre but prefer 3betting slightly given the read and the no-rake tourney setting. Put a gun to my head and folding is my next choice.

As played, I think the read works against you on the river as you're still losing the low side very often. Plenty of equity to kc but not to bet. For example, give him 25% and require that he have a made low on the turn and you're still only ~44% equity on the river and get waaaay outscooped. Your equity climbs a little as I make him tighter pre but not by much.
