Hi all,

I was playing 50/75/150 limit mix in a star-studded line up the other day and played two big o hands:

1. AAT96 no nut suit, I limp in MP and there is a CO open to $250 and a call. There is a $1,200 cap in this game. Hero?

2. AKQ84 nut diamonds, we call an open to $250 in the third blind and go three ways to: 23Jr one diamond. We have wheel draw and nut low draw and back door nut flush draw. Player leads out half pot, and second player caps to $1,200. Hero?

Thanks,
DT

Not sure if I even understand how the game works but

1. lol cap

2. I think I'd fold, it's a disaster if one of them has A4

So blinds are 25/50 I am assuming.

Hand 1 limp is probably wrong but easy re-pot as played.

Hand 2 seems like an easy call as played. It should be 950 to Hero now, not 1200.

Its more important that you cover details like that and blinds than whether you have a backdoor flush draw in hand history.

Blinds were 50/75(150 with kill, as in these hands).

Number 1 just cap it, they made things easy for you.

Second one price is pretty good and some high potential.

Hand 2, how much is the pot on the flop and how much are the bets? Making sure I understand the action. I am not sure I understand how the kill works.

As usual DT post makes no sense at all. How can someone open to 250 if the biggest blind is 150? This structure sounds insanely dumb but with no ante and very shallow cap you play fairly tight in EP or in raised pots outside the blinds, and fairly loosely defending blinds

Hand two it was $900 in the pot on the flop. It is a very weird structure, when the kill is on it's $150 but the first raise is $100 more or some reason I do not understand...perhaps because the big blind remains $100?

Yes I think you should stack off in hand 2.

DT there appears to be confusion if this is limit or pot limit. In hand 1 can we pot it or make it 400?

It’s pot limit with a $1,200 cap in the hand.

Stacks would help a lot.
