I play a lot of PLO 8/B on WSOP.com and America's Cardroom. Handle is the same as my username. I live in Las Vegas and play mostly 0.10-0.25 and 0.25-0.50. I schedule myself two sessions/week of live FLO 8 (4-8 and 8-16) and about 15 hours/week of online play. I would like to join the discussion group. It's been awhile since I was active on P2P. I would like to post maybe one or two interesting hands from my sessions a few times/week when I'm studying my hand histories at night. Do any of the other members of the group live in Vegas (or nearby)?

Hop on the discord group (see above). There are a few members in Vegas. Also feel free to make threads and put some hands up and you will get some input on those. Welcome.

^^ There ya go, you'll probably see some familiar people there since you already play on acr and wsop + some of the vegas live o8 games.

Also the OSS series is coming back again so the same as with last time, I'll be giving away more buy-ins to some of the o8 events and satties.

Also running a last-longer for the .25 nlo8 r/a every monday night, it's a fun and crazy mtt that is cheap enough that everyone can play and re-enter all they want. It rarely hits the gtd so there's usually a 15-30% overlay. Good way to build up a BR there from nothing, especially since me or one of the others will cover your first week if you have trouble with deposits or transfers or whatever.

Somehow jack won last week's last-longer, so someone needs to take the title back. It's not easy either, that tourney is like a minefield full of bad beats

Is there anybody in the thread playing on BOL? I noticed that they have started sngs for pl08. If there are players that are on BOL I would like to get in on this. Railbirds did something similar years back but lost track post BF.
Thx....

I have not played there, but I heard the players are pretty weak.

Yeah there's a few in here that play there I know of for sure, and maybe some more others that I don't. We've pretty much got all of the decent sites with o8 covered at this point.

Should be pretty fun, on top of their usual weekly events too. There's more sats I think, but I was trying to fit all of the o8 events on one page.

The first of the larger o8 events starts tomorrow, it says 7.5k gtd but judging by earlier events we're probably going to see a 10k+ prize pool along with bounties. Get in early and try to run a stack up, gl

Another OSS series coming again, here's the o8 and stud/stud8 events they have listed in the lobby so far. There might be a few more hat aren't in the lobby yet. There's also a $265 entry fee for a million gtd for holdem and two other million gtd mtts.

The times are CST

Along with the private satellites, we now have freerolls. The next one is this sunday, for last weeks we gave out small amounts of bitcoin which has since went up about 15 or 20%

Congrats Lotuspod, I've much respect for your play, but I was wondering why you don't play the cash games? (Not that I want you to)

I hadn't played all that much lately anyway, but cash might be fun...idk if one could score in the Beast promo from o8 only but that would be the main reason. I never really got into cash much for o8 - mostly because the rake always felt a bit high, especially since it's a split pot game. Also the tournament format just seems more fun for poker, and the added ICM decisions can make things interesting.

You can score in the Beast, I've seen a handful of regs bank $1000 regularly, most of whom I've never seen play any other games. I usually get $100.

I understand your reasoning though, and I agree tourneys can be more fun.
