PLO8: Fast play or nah? PLO8: Fast play or nah?

It's 50PLO8 at a usual passive table on Ignition.

2 limps to me and I have A478 and decide to limp behind. Button folds and BB completes.

Effective stacks are around $50 with $2.50 in the middle.

Flop is K 6 5

Checks to UTG who bets $2.14, UTG+1 calls now it's my turn to either shovel the money in or draw people in. I choose to slowplay and call and SB also calls.

Turn: K 6 5 6

SB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, and I check.

River: K 6 5 6 J

It checks around to me and I decide to give up.

Anyway: Fast play the flop? Bluff the turn? I didn't want to get bluffed off my equity on the turn but it probably would have made money.

Yeah, you got to hit that turn.

Something like a block-bluff bet.

I think flop raise is better - we are happy to create fold equity - and despite flopping a very strong hand we will be forced to play cautiously on many turns.

Turn and river look ok.

Against three with the worst possible blockers I'd never bluff. Raise flop to push equity.

agree with this 100%

the cards you have are the ones you want your opponents to have, so they have whiffed.

we unblock literally all pairs.
