6 seated, I raise under the gun and get called by the button and the BB
pre I am set to 6 opponents, should I change to 3 opponents at this stage or stay with 6.
also If I get raised by the BB, how would this affect the way I should look at my equity in the hand.
Does this question even make sense, also is this within the spirit of the game or should I just be using them when analyzing my game.
any advice will be welcome
I'm not quite sure exactly of your intent but in first scenario you can assign ranges, I use pro poker tools and I would look at equity by maybe doing something like 15% for button and 20% for big blind. Ignore other players.
Getting re-raised by BB means he typically has a monster, say a 5% hand.
For example, say you have As2s5hQd and got re-raised by BB.
Hand | Pot equity | Scoops | Wins Hi | Ties Hi | Wins Lo | Ties Lo |
---|
as2s5hQd | 45.57% | 146,263 | 212,006 | 46,862 | 154,463 | 103,054 |
5% | 54.43% | 197,086 | 341,132 | 46,862 | 57,468 | 103,054 |
