I start this thread because I don't find a line I should follow to beat two ultra aggro players in PLO8 Cash game especially short handed.
Do you know a strategy for this??
I wonder how is this possible?
Can be these players BOTS?
I dont know but it seems suspicious, they play like Robots ultra aggro and loose and always winning and none of these two players have ever wroten an only word in the chat.
I'd be thankful for your opinions.

Against lunatics with crazy stats you just sit back, chill, wait for good hands, and then pile in the money with your dominating range. ez game.

Yup, plo8 is one of the easiest games to punish over-agro players, you should probably study some basic strategy for pre-flop and the flop

Normally this is how I do it, but this game we were most of the time 3 handed (me, the maniac and a TAG reg) and I had to loosen up a little.
The maniac in this session and the other ultra aggro I mentioned before, are the only opponents I cannot find adjustments to fight against them. I'm not saying I must win everytime against every one, but against theses ones I feel powerless and "desperate".
Against these two were my worst cash game sessions of the last months.
I'm gonna post some hands when I find the hand histories to show you how crazy this last maniac was. He had about VPIP 80, PFR 40, 3B 50 or something.

Monikrazy I m studying and trying to get better, but like I said, I don't find solutions for facing this kind of opponents in short handed.
Is there particular adjustments you would do to play 3/4 handed instead of 6 or full ring?

Another question again: is in your opinion possible these two ones are BOTS?
I have this feeling, I don't know. And I have never seen them losing... Not one only time although they play and raise almost very hand no matter what they have and no matter from which position. And win...
And never wrote a word in chat, never. Not one word, both of them.

Bots not that I believe there are any playing PLO8 generally play tight not loose and have small winrates

What would make you think Bots never lose?

Very unlikely to be bots. Why bother coding that for such a thinly spread game?

1. Neither of them were likely bots.

2. If you were folding too much — you probably were — then being aggro is justified.

3. Of the TAG was folding too — he probably was — then being aggro is justified.

4. Tightening up is, imho, the incorrect solution in a three handed game. There are a lot of spots where you should be willing to stack off against an aggro dude. The question is whether you understand these spots or not.

5. If you start opening up properly, you and the aggro dude will basically start doing an intricate dance with lots of money on the line regularly. The person who adjust the best will have a significant edge. This is where you are playing some serious and seriously fun poker.

An O8 bot would be easy to beat.

In addition to that, any decent o8 bot(s) would most likely be worth a hell of a lot more to the AI community right now anyway. Or developed into software for people to learn to play.
