On second thought, why were you withdrawing checks to begin with? I thought only winning players did that...

I won't name the place specifically, but it was a local credit union. They made me feel like a criminal. I will be seeing them live on Tuesday when back from vacation.

i am not a lawyer, and nothing i say should be construed as legal advice.

in an unrelated topic, i have found that plausible deniability can be effective in a wide variety of life situations.

I tried this approach and then they just started assuming I was moving drugs and closed my account.

I really contemplated doing this especially since most of my play is Headsup and my opponents will have a great understanding of what I'm doing .

In the end I decided to do it because I have enough confidence in my game that I'll be able to adjust to their new counter strategies and I shouldn't be playing people who watch my videos anyways.

I've had somewhat of a break-even stretch for the last little while and I attribute most of it to being in a negative mood and not truly focusing hard enough. I think that now that I'm a coach, it forces me to make sure that I'm making the right decision all the time. It's also a big boost in spirits and that's always good for one's game.

As for the impact on the games, I'm not sure what to think. However, I don't think the overall effect of creating these videos and providing coaching will have a real damaging effect. I think that it will definitely bring more traffic to O8 games and that can only be a plus in my opinion.

You can argue that undoubtedly Hold Em got much much harder with the instructional tools that were introduced such as these sites and books, but I believe Holdem is more one-dimensional. O8 on the other hand has many different levels and ways of going about things as can be seen in O8 threads where there isn't a "correct" line for most hands.

I think that if players are watching these videos, they are willing to learn and will develop skills along the way regardless. With our help, they will just reach that goal faster. It is the fish who will always be fish becase they are unwilling to learn that will remain donating in our games.

Edit; Also Buzz or someone, are you able to change the title to include Limit O8 videos as well. Don't leave me out!

I covered this very briefly in my first video but I am really unhappy with my explanations and didn't have much time to go into detail as I was playing and commenting live. I will go through AAxx scenarios in text in more detail once my video is released.

Hey Predator,

Do you have any more videos schedule to release on Stox after the March video? If so, will it become a monthly 1 video schedule? What will the content be?

Heres what I currently have out:

H/U cash play
Playing PLO8 High Hands
6 Max PLO8
A (3) part tournament series
SNG bubble play
SNG basic strategy

I will be doing one (sometimes two) a month for a while from now on. Next I have plans on doing SNG mid-blind play with different stack size situations. From there on out, I plan to do some NLO8 material, but also like to take suggestions from the stox forum and put out ones that people are asking about.

Thanks

How about low level cash
FR games? Many of your concepts don't work at the lower levels due to the type of players or whatever. I'm talking about 5c-10c games and lower.
Also how about the low buyin plo/8 tournaments? A step by step video will be great.
Thanks

Is the micro game that much different? I assume it is, but haven't really tried it. I am open to checking it out if there can be decent content. As far as a lower buy in tourney, the 3 part series is a review of another coach and I think it was $10. Have you checked that out?
