Where is the biggest traffic (excluding PS and FT) nowdays ?

Traffic on Stars is gonna evaporate after Jan 1, as there will be no rakeback above 10/20 and significant rakeback reduction on lower stakes. I guess the game will still be played very high (50/100+) and very low (ppl just don't care it's unbeatable with 4.5 BB/100 rake).

unfortunately I cant play on Bovada.
I just took a look at carbon and I can see no players to play even there is no pot limit tabels just only fixed limit where traffic is 0

i heard with pretty much all of the merge sites except carbon. at least i got my check. i haven't played on that site for a while tho since they don't allow nevada players anywore.

BB = Big bet, bb = big blind. So I assume that he was talking about limit, especially as he also said no rakeback at >10/20 rather than 5/10.

And yeah ofc 4.5BB/100 is just ridic, and essentially unbeatable at a limit split-pot game.

They seem to be a bit faster overall, but past few years it's slowed down in late winter/early spring...probably because of the heavy sports betting for the superbowl and such. Traffic has died down alot because of a lot of regs getting restricted, but I guess things would be pretty soft for whatever games you can get to fill. And if you win much or just a little too often, be prepared to get limited to as few as one or maybe even no tables at all. It's still worth a try I guess, they let you cash out even if you get fully restricted.

For OP and whoever else needed it...Bovada has the best traffic by far, for US facing sites anyway. No rakeback except for a player points system that amounts to almost nothing. Every now and then they have a few decent bonus things, like the 12 days of turbos thats just finishing up. You got up to three $22 tourney tickets and one $7, which didn't require all that much playing to earn. Cashing out is a matter of weeks rather than months like it is on merge, and one free cash out a month is pretty nice compared to only one free cash out a year on merge.

WPN has the best rewards program and seems the most player-friendly site lately, I'm surprised o8 traffic is still pretty low. The on-demand MTTs are a pretty nice idea, they start when 6 people register and have late registration for anyone else to enter. Jackpot tables might get added for o8 soon also. No idea how cash outs are there, I haven't played there much yet but I hear the bitcoin method they offer is the fastest way to cash out for any US site. You have to make a deposit with this method first and withdrawing via bitcoin has had a few negative issues for the sites that have tried it so far, there are threads that explain everything so read up on it first before jumping into it.

All 3 sites have their own different pros and cons for o8 and just poker in general, but each one is currently worth at least a minimum deposit to try them out so people can find whatever suits them the best. Just try not to keep more money than you are comfortable having on them, especially for merge. Keep your deposits/BR as small as possible, but enough to where you never have to deposit more than once a day because it will likely send your bank account into whatever kind of fraud-protections they happen to use. Unless you're playing high stakes ring games on bovada, you don't need a huge BR for o8 and big first-time deposit bonuses take too long to clear for the time allowed anyway so try not to let them influence your decisions too much. A pre-paid reloadable visa card works on all 3 and is the safest way to go, unless you're going the bitcoin/bank wire route.

This site runs up to 2/4 PLO/PLO8 that play deep. Usually a few tables of big fish playing 1/2 through 2/4 plo8 andddd the plo is sick too. Software sucks. They might be good for the money, they had an issue many years ago... but they're probably good for it now?

Winning Poker Network: Skins = Americas Card room, Black Chip Poker, and I think like 10 more? but they're smaller... not sure if any have bad reps.

Good RB is everywhere. VipGrinders (I'm not partnered with them, but they're cool) and a bunch of others offer really good rb deals.

Software is pretty good. From IGSOFT. They usually have a few tables... I've seen 3/6-5/10 plo8 this week and 75/150 flo8. And some really good o8 mtts. What I really like about them compared to carbon is that carbon has been actively kicking winning players off at random. aka... WTF?

Carbon: For now I would say avoid? I know winning players that have gotten emails that say "Hey, you're winning... You can't play here anymore."

Intertops: Old cake software but they have their own cashier for forever... If you build it. maybe it will run.

Bodog / bovada: are the nuts for o8 action. but good luck getting on if you're not living in Canada or USA.

For EURO sites:

888: - a few guys from 2+2 sit big here everyday. Occasionally get action. I'm sure the midstakes will get action and I've certainly gotten it.

No rb deals from anyone anywhere. /bleh

Party: - Not sure if there any other skins now that they sold off WPT. You used to be able to open up an account on WPT and get the shhh shhh rb. I see people sitting 1/2-5/10 so it probably runs?

Microgaming: - really unfamilar here. But I saw 25/50 and 50/100 plo8 running on a random morning.

Ongame: - probably same as Microgaming. Alot skins are on both networks... ( I think it was ongame where they boosted up rake on sh omaha over night to like a million % more?)

I-Poker: Skins = William hill and stuff. Expect like 60-65% rb or youre getting taken behind the shed. I used to play alot of 1/2 through 10/20 plo8 here. They lowered omaha to 5/10 @ some point

SilverSands: Weird south African Site.. I've played Mid stakes plo8 there... it was soft. Some please remind me to request a cashout and see if it comes.

PKR: 3D poker room that is well funded and I believe attracts clowny players and weak regs? you can sit up to 2/4 plo8

Equity Network: Used to get big o8. They may or may not be good for the money. (lol) Slow cashouts.

You Wager: good for 1/2 at best... maybe not really. meh

Grand Poker: This is 5Dimes own site. Which would do soooo well with o8 if they switched their stupid lobby over so that it doesn't segregate o8 into its own tab. / bleh

SWC: Seals with clubs new site. Which is probably sweet. Just not sure if it runs @ relevant stakes?

and last on the list. Private sites

I've probably beaked to many of you privately about the rise and advent or private sites. Which are all SUPER UNREGULATED. aka its the motha****in WILD WILD WEST.

Obviously this **** varies. If a private site has invested a ****load into software like 50-100k+++ well thats a good sign. Invites are hard to get, but if you're friendly when you play live!!! who knows man, could be your lucky day.

I know of 5 of these sites that operate and run plo8.

1/2-10/20 plo8 and up to 75/50 flo8.

A great one was online recently using www.briggsoft.com software (runs like $500 + a few k in mods.) and had alot of o8. There are a few more... and theres one that has 10/20 as its lowest stake I'm trying to get on...

Anyways. There are a few more coming out in Jan!

Gamebookers is a other Party skin,no RB but it has its own promos aswell.
Party isn´t great for cash O8 but the Mtts are ok.
