Omaha /8 win rate Las Vegas

Hello,
I'm curious if anyone knows what a reasonable win rate would be for full ring low stakes limit omaha /8 in Las Vegas? Low stakes as in 4/8 or 8/16. I've read a couple articles where 2bb an hour is accurate for a decent player back in the day but didn't know if that holds true today.
Also, do omaha /8 books from years ago still hold up to today's game? I'm reading Ray Zee's book and Mark Tenner/Lou Krieger. I wasn't sure if limit omaha /8 has evolved at the pace that NL Holdem has where concepts and strategies from 10-20 years ago have significantly changed. Are these books still the best reading source for this game?
I'm looking to making limit omaha /8 my main game so any info is much appreciated.
Thank you.

I don't think anyone here plays those games so its going to be tough to get a response on those games specifically. My feeling is the games haven't changed much, so yes, the books would still be applicable today. I base that on that, at least in my area, the same faces sitting at the low limit o8 games are the same faces I saw 20 years ago. Concepts and strategies I think are pretty static in O8, the main reason being is the game is bluffing and deception don't factor nearly as much as in NLHE, O8 is more a game of accurately determining and realizing equity, or knowing what hands to play and how to play them in various situations.

I don’t live in Vegas but have played a decent bit of Omaha 8 at orleans (8-16). The game is a lot of fun and usually has good action (it has a kill to 12-24 which is good). Definitely beatable. I would say a great player could make 18-20 an hour but that’s a guess. So good for a hobby certainly, not for a living though unless you don’t need a lot (not sure I could put in 40 or 50 hrs a week there though it is a good poker room). I think the game hasn’t changed too much and if you study the 2p2 book you will be head and tails above almost anyone there.

Thanks for the replies. I'll keep reading the books.
