is the ev line on pt broken? i got it in like a 70% fav in a $15 and my ev line went up $1 someone explain this? surely it shoud go up at least $8-$10?

there was a third player in the pot but only had 18 chips so this shouldnt effect anything.

The ev line does not work if a player is all in preflop for less than the amount of the bb.

really? why is that? how did you find out? would it make sense to tell the guys at pokertracker about it?

I figured it out just by going over my ev graph and noticing certain anomalies awhile back. They know about the problem but the last time I checked they were not able to fix it. I forget the reasoning as to why it happens.

didnt want to play hypers and highstakes cash @ the same time but maybe i will move back to hypers
swings are brutal @ 5/10+ ( 10 days this month of 10k winnings or losses )

The rating lists for 6 handed, 3 handed, and 2 handed are different than the rating list for 10 handed, but similar. I don't have links to get to those other rating lists.

I imagine somehow the programming genius behind ProPokerTools (Bachfan, who occasionally posts here) has a quick way to locate whatever hand you choose on the list and provide an automated answer to how it rates. (I'm just guessing).

Just as in Texas hold 'em, it's possible to choose three Omaha-8 hands such that:
Hand A>Hand B,
Hand B>Hand C, and
Hand C>Hand A.
And that makes it hard to rate 16432 distinctly different hands relative to each other. Bachfan came up with a clever solution to that dilemma, which he describes somewhere. And the result is the list.

Last time I moved up I lost my shirt, dwelled in $1.50 after that. The $3.50 lets me rakeback whore much better. Just got another $11 for my FPPs when unregistering. Gives me the opportunity to keep the holdem skills up too.

my july, pretty pissed to run 200buy ins down on evover 4k games. no wonder im stuck at these low stakes just cant seem to get any momentum. havent seen a graph posted on here yet with similar results, not once was i running above my ev line the whole month.

200 buy ins? That sounds like really much. Legitimate complaint imo. But the most important thing still is your ev-line, which looks very consistent and nice.
