just give us your screen name so we can send you our money directly and don´t have to pay the rake

considering you have a database on your own already i would suggest to do some data mining for regular players you see very often and see how they play?

Welcome back Wadzon

I also noticed tatta playing some hypers. He certainly plays an interesting style.

wadzon was experimenting with holdem hypers. That did not go so well and he went back to O8.

Its absolutly unreal how i run at the $30s, run standard everything else, load up some $30s and boom get destroyed in every single hand.

30$ buyin level is weird.
sharkscope top10 guys with most games played@30$ and their profit/game:

1.Wadzon <650$ in 6,2k games
2.booink <650$ in 5,2k games
3.J_J 4,7k$ in 4,5k games ~ 1$/game
4. yoeyonfire in 3,5k$ 3,5k games~1$/game
5.macr0s <650$ in 3,4k games
6. maanu3l <650$ in 2,6k games
7. traktor14 2,1k$ in 2,1k games~1$/game
8.2mark <650$ in 2k games
9. premove 1,9k$ in 2k games~1$/game
10. waltiph <650$ in 2k games

so we have 4 guys with a roi of ~3-3.5%
and 6 guys breaking even/losing money. and none of them i would consider a bad player.

30$s are still being the bottleneck with consistently harsh lineups (higher buyin regs play them as their lowest buyin and lower buyin regs as their highest buyin).
and they are rigged as well of course!

I hear you and most times when just one or two are going off line ups look silly so i just dont play them. Now and then a few get going that are softer and is the only time i reg. I need to man up and just get a sample of them as i have only played just over 100. In this sample i am 15k chips below ev 3 handed which is just killing me with a 24 no cash streak chucked in.

Interesting. Think I can name 3-4 in that line up I don't rate and I think they are mostly German. But I wouldn't say they are horrendous. Kinda not persuading me to start regging $30 so you just lost one fish .

Just got a new computer and need to buy a car so that ain't gonna happen

I think with that list of players is that all of them have sacrificed ROI for Volume. I think some of those names are some of the best SNG 08 regs on pokerstars and some of them the worst.

What does that mean? (I try to make sense out of what you write).

ROI must mean "return on investment."

But what is "Volume"? (Seems like "volume" would mean playing a greater number of hands, but it doesn't make sense to me that having greater volume would be better than getting a greater return on one's investment).

Perhaps you're thinking of volume as a dollar amount and ROI as a percentage.

I've obviously got something wrong.

Thanks.

Volume= playing more tournaments at once

Even being a native English speaker my written word is horrible. Easiest example would be

Player A plays 4 tables and has a ROI of 10%

Player A plays 16 tables and has an ROI of 4%

By increasing the amount of tables his expected return falls but he can play more tournaments which result in more money won.

Thank you. That makes it very clear. Now "volume" makes sense to me.

Are you sure those stats are correct. I only sharkscoped maanu3l on that list and it has him at 2.1% roi over 2.6k games, thats over $1500. If he can beat the $30s they cant be that tough unless he is running hot of course.
Quote

hm. now he is at 1,1k$ and still about 2,6k games. swings i guess`?

welcome back wadzon

Welcome to the jungle it gets worse here every day
Ya learn to live like an animal in the jungle where we play
If you hunger for what you see you'll take it eventually
You can have everything you want but you better not take it from me

It looks like waterboas heater finally ended. It seems he has lost about 7 k straight overall since the 21st 4k+ of which came from O8 hypers.

As booink said we love these guys not because we necessarily think they are losing players but more so because of the volume they are willing to put in which keeps the games going. Certainly they both play in lineups where they are going to be losers but sometimes thats not a bad thing if you can learn from it and if not still respect their heart for doing it.

ha i just opened this thread to post "its not going to end well for waterboa". Read above and then sharkscoped him. Shame his heater is still on in games im registerd with him. I have him 400bb over ev in the 100 hypers i have played with him.

Amen to the high stakes running more often. That way booink, Juicy, and other top players won't ruin my low stakes rakeback grinds as much.
