It's the final table and I got dealt High Only Aces (AAKQ ss).
The player in MP and CO are relativ tight, BTN is ultraloose and showed a lot of highonly or bad low Hands, the player in BB was chipleader all the time and lost in two big pots most of his chips, is now shoving almost every hand (he has won already 300 $ bounties and the one who takes his last chips wins 150$ Bounty).
What is the right play in this spot????
Results oriented was shoving the wrong move... I dont know.
I would be thankful for your opinions

I think it's close. If you covered BTN, I'd just fistpump getin. If BB didn't have a big bounty, it's a clear fold for me.

Anyway, you get rewarded so high for winning these things that I wouldn't shoot myself for that play.

Given the distribution of chips I think it's a pretty clear fold even if the stacks were reversed. You're not in any rush at this point and I know your hand is premium but clearly your value should be coming from playing against this player post flop and not shoving it all in preflop and you still have a stack where that can happen.

I found this to be a rather interesting question.

My personal opinion: It depends on what you think, your (postflop) edge over the BTTN and the other players is. If you are better than your opponent(s), so much that you will win more than 150$ simply by placing higher more than half the time, then it is a fold, no? On the other hand, if you believe you are better than the BTTN but might be outmatched against the rest, then it's worth the gamble.

I don't know, if this is a reasonable range for the BTTN to assume (it is probably too wide), but I wanted to get an idea where we stand anyways.

First of all thanks for all your answers.
I'm not in any rush you 're right, but I wanted to try a shot for the big bounty and my hand was decent for that.
I'm still learning omaha8 and I'm still learning MTTs. I play it constantly since 7 months, before I was playing only occasionally some omanias...
I'm still not so good in this game but I had the table under control on that day and felt very comfortable.
That's why as you and Caterina not to gamble in that spot might have been the right play...
The very big bounty of the BB was the problem, and the hands the BTN shoved before also... he shoved many high only QQxx or KKxx even with no suites before (and survived) that's why I liked my high only aces in that spot for a all in confrontation.
This kind of frustration for preflop all ins is a typical NLO8 story, that's why I rather play PLO8.
