When playing hi-lo (PLO8 or Big O -- and if there is a difference between these two games, please let me know), how do you describe these situations in terms of getting counterfeited:

Flop is T87. You hold A234. Do you have the uncounterfeitable nut low draw? Or is counterfeited a term reserved only for made hands?

Board is T87T2. You hold AKQ2. Did you get counterfeited on the river? Or did your low draw just not get home?

Board is T87. I have AKQ3. You have AKQ2. Do we both have nut low draws?

Thanks for helping out a newb!

Yes

No, just not made low

No imo, in hold'em a king high flush draw is not called the nut flush simply because we could spike an ace

You could easily be counterfeited for high also.

In the first case, you're saying "I have a draw to a low that cannot be counterfeited once made." Note that to say this there is the implication that your draw also has more outs, by definition. It's a "low wrap" of sorts. In a standard low draw of A2 on a T87 board, you have 16 outs to hit on the turn, and if you hit you have 6 "outs" to get counterfeited on the river. If you hold instead A23, you now have 21 outs, and if you hit you have the same 6 outs to counterfeit you. (If we were looking at a board of T87Q instead, then the A23 low draw would be uncounterfeitable.) If you hold instead A234, you might be surprised to find that your outs have actually decreased to 20, but now nothing can come on the river to countefeit you.

In the third case, you could easily say the river card counterfeited your 2, which is not the same thing as saying your made low got counterfeited.
